Myślisz sobie: nowe Poki, pierwsza generacja, Kanto, graficzka, klimat. A potem dostajesz na twarz: integracja z GO, brak walk z dzikimi pokemonami, jakiś spin-off dla dzieci zbudowany na naszej miłości do Red, Blue i Yellow...

Premiera 16 listopada

More Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee details
Cytuj
In any case, on with the latest details:

– You will not be able to evolve your partner Pokemon
– However, can catch other Eevee/Pikachus you find in the wild
– Your partner Pokemon will take up one of your six party slots, and you will be able to box it
– Boxes work differently in that you now have a box in your bag
– The ability to transfer from Go/Let’s Go opens up about halfway through the game
– After that, you’ll be able to do it freely
– There are also minigames you can do when transferring lots of Pokemon over
– Candy from Go will not do anything in Let’s Go
– Won’t say whether you’ll be able to transfer Pokemon from Let’s Go and turn them into Candy
– Any Pokemon that’s large enough in Let’s Go you will automatically ride
– They had the idea to let you ride Pokemon of any size but decided against it
– No HMs
– Although the interface is different, you will still earn EXP from catching Pokemon, as well as trainer battles
– Event Pokemon in Go (Ash hat Pikachu, etc), cannot be transferred to Let’s Go
– The controls for catching Pokemon in handheld mode will have you moving the console around and pressing a button to throw; no touch screen, and the gyro part is required
– No additional details about Z-mode/Mega Evolutions in Let’s Go
– They haven’t locked down how experience from capturing Pokemon/trainer battles will be distributed (evenly, per Pokemon etc.)
– Trading and battling online between Switches will be available through online and local play
– As of right now, Masuda is saying that in general, only the original 150 Pokemon will be available in Let’s Go
– No news on player customization (at least for now)
– The plot of Let’s Go will not take you to Johto
– The map of Kanto, however, will be very similar to the original landmass, but there will be graphical differences
– Although there are some Alolan forms of Pokemon in Let’s Go, there are otherwise no connections between it and Sun/Moon
– There are once again two versions, which means all the usual Pokemon differences apply (individual Pokemon)
– No plot differences between the two
https://nintendoeverything.com/more-pokemon-lets-go-pikachu-eevee-details/

Cytuj
– Wild Pokemon battles do not exist in the Let’s Go games
– But you can battle other trainers
– On choosing Eevee: one reason was that your rival in Yellow used Eevee; character has become massively popular over the years as well, and they’ve decided to start using him as a partner to Pikachu
– There was a “special Pokemon” mentioned in the trailer Go players would meet if they linked it with Let’s Go; it’s an all-new Pokemon we’ve never seen before
– You will still be able to trade and battle, but you’ll have to have multiple Switches for that; you can have multiple accounts on the same console, however
– The Pokemon Company views Switch as a combo home/handheld, so they wanted to take the good parts of the handheld versions and expand on them with the Switch
– The Let’s Go games are designed primarily as home console games, while the 2019 games will have more of an emphasis on the handheld experience
– They didn’t elaborate on what this might mean
– They have other gameplay ideas they haven’t announced regarding how Go and Let’s Go will interface
– Those who play both will be rewarded
– They see the Let’s Go games as the next step for players brought in by Pokemon Go to continue with the series, which is why the catching interface/models are the same
– The 2019 games, meanwhile, is what they see as their way to move the handheld experience forward, and they’ve been working on it since before the Switch released, which is why the won’t be as influenced by Go
– There are plans for the Poke Ball Plus beyond the Let’s Go games/Go
– They see the device as the next iteration of the Go Plus
– Nintendo engineers helped make the Poke Ball
– The idea was to create the closest thing possible to an actual Pokeball that really felt like it has a Pokemon inside
– What technology is used to connect Let’s Go game and Pokemon GO? Bluetooth
https://nintendoeverything.com/pokemon-lets-go-pikachu-eevee-details-no-wild-pokemon-battles-choosing-eevee-more/

Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda on Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee, update on online
Cytuj
On wanting to simplify things…

“For our first entry on the Nintendo Switch, I really wanted to do something more kind of simplified, something that really anyone could enjoy. I think the reason for this is to get more Switches into the hands of younger kids and more casual players, not just players who are really interested in hardcore games or are really gamers first and foremost.”

– When asked if effort values and individual values will return in Let’s Go, Masuda said “we wanted to make it more simplified,” and to “please wait for more details”
– There will be some differences in how you level up, raise, and train your Pokemon
– No comment on Pokemon Bank compatibility
– No word on whether Pokemon from Let’s Go will be transferable to the 2019 games
– Masuda said he and his team worked very hard to make Pikachu and Eevee as cute and expressive as possible, and are still working on this now

On how co-op works…

“The bottom line… is that it really is to make the second player a support role. So the idea is that it’s the first player’s adventure. If you only have one Switch in the house and there are siblings, each sibling can start their own game.”

“This may not be a super great answer, but I don’t want to go into the exact mechanics of what happens if someone joins in mid-way.”

– Masuda wanted to add an option to make it playable with parents, siblings, or friends
– If a Pokemon has been sent to Pokemon Let’s Go, it will be unable to return to Pokemon GO
– Niantic’s John Hanke says when trainers connect their GO and Switch accounts, you can do more than just transfer Pokemon, but they want to save some surprises
– Masuda confirmed that if a Pokemon is Shiny in Pokemon GO, it will still be Shiny in Pokemon Let’s Go
– Unknown how a Pokemon’s stats from Pokemon GO are treated when transferred, and awaiting for information on if they will remain the same, or alter, when recaptured in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee
– With the Poke Ball Plus, when carrying a Pokemon, it will light up, make noise, and move
– Masuda also said some other things will happen when carrying Pokemon, but he didn’t want to get into the details
– Masuda said his team worked especially hard on making use of the Joy-Con’s six gyro sensors to ensure it felt right when a Pokemon is caught, and this technology was transferred to the Poke Ball Plus
– You should be able to feel the Pokemon rock “realistically” in the Poke Ball Plus when it’s caught

Lastly, we have one more report on online usage. There unfortunately was a high degree of confusion here to due conflicted reports coming out of last night’s event in Tokyo, particular from the Q&A session. But after speaking with Masuda, IGN reports that battling and trading online are both available online and locally. Online ranked battles will not be available, however. There are also no plans to use Nintendo Switch Online.

Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee Launch Shipments Will Be Larger Than Any Switch Game To Date
Cytuj
It appears that Nintendo of Europe has sent the initial launch shipment numbers to all French retailers, with 300,000 copies of each game expected to be available on store shelves (so 600,000 in total). 35,000 units of the Poké Ball Plus will also be available on the same day.

To put this into perspective, Super Mario Odyssey launched with 350,000 copies (which doesn't match the Pokémon titles' combined figures), while upcoming big releases like Mario Tennis Aces, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and Octopath Traveler will receive 120,000, 80,000, and 30,000 copies respectively.

Two Limited Edition Pokémon Let's Go Switch Consoles Arrive This November

Cytuj
These systems will be available on 16th November - the same day as the games' release. Interestingly, this is the first time an official Switch console has been released featuring artwork from a game; previously, all consoles have only come with differently-coloured Joy-Con.

The consoles have been confirmed for release in Europe, North America (where it will cost $399.99), and Japan, with the latter's bundle also including a 90-day subscription to the upcoming Nintendo Switch Online service.

Masuda says Pokemon: Let’s Go co-op makes the game easier, but tough trainers await in the post-game
Cytuj
Director Junichi Masuda, speaking with Polygon, noted that the co-op feature is included “to get around players encountering barriers.” He said:

“There’s no getting around it. It is going to be an easier experience if you are playing with another person cooperatively.”

“There are some difficult trainer battles in the game, so [kids] may have trouble in the game. So they wanna ask for help. There are a lot of benefits that [co-operative play adds] to the difficulty factor. We used support play to get around players encountering barriers.”

Pokemon: Let’s Go might be easier in some areas, but Masuda also teased that tougher trainers will await players in the post-game:

“A good portion of the more difficult stuff is in the post-game. There’s ways to strengthen your Pokémon, and the reason you wanna do that is, you take on these master trainers these really powerful trainers that you encounter after the main story.”
https://nintendoeverything.com/masuda-says-pokemon-lets-go-co-op-makes-the-game-easier-but-tough-trainers-await-in-the-post-game/

Junichi Masuda again says next Pokemon game will let you bring over older creatures
Cytuj
Masuda’s full words when asked whether Game Freak is looking at letting Pokemon to move between Let’s Go and the next core title:

“We’re definitely always thinking of that kind of forward-moving functionality, especially since we’ve introduced Pokemon Bank. Now, up to Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, you’re able to store your Pokemon, and we know they’re very important to everyone. I mean, obviously, people would be very sad if they couldn’t use their Pokemon in a future game. So, it does get complicated when you talk about the details and we’re still figuring it out, but we do have plans to find ways to let players use their Pokemon in the next game.”

Game Freak on Pokemon: Let’s Go Master Trainers, Meltan’s reveal, open-world game “still on the cards”, more
Cytuj
Kensaku Nabana: And also the postgame content as well, in particular the master trainiers – so these are trainers who are kind of the ultimate trainers of a specific Pokémon, so you will challenge them. So you will challenge them, and then get their title for that Pokémon, so you become the master of that Pokémon if you manage to beat them in battle.

Junichi Masude: So for me, my favourite Pokémon is Psyduck, so I’d be training my Psyduck amazingly and then would challenge the Psyduck Master, and then gain the Psyduck Master title, and that’s something you can put a lot of effort and a lot of time into, if I really wanted to create a challenge for myself – and these Master Trainers exist for all of the 151 Pokémon in the game, so you know, if you want to collect all of the titles then that’s something you can really challenge yourself with.

Opening sales of Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu/Eevee were down over 60% compared to Pokemon Sun/Moon, though the 3DS games made for the biggest launch of a Nintendo release in the UK ever so it would have been tough to replicate. A closer comparison is Pokemon X/Y, but sales were still down 5% there as well. Pokemon: Let’s Go still had the best opening for a Switch title by far.

GamesIndustry also points out a couple of extra important tidbits. Nintendo dealt with stock issues, meaning fewer units came in from the company’s European warehouse and some pre-orders were not fulfilled. Many stores sold out of copies as well. 3DS also had a larger install base when its Pokemon titles released.

Thanks to Pokemon’s arrival, Switch hardware and many pieces of software benefited in a strong way. Sales for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Party, Super Mario Odyssey, and Zelda: Breath of the Wild rose by 94%, 25%, 30%, and 52% respectively. Just Dance 2019 sales increased by 465% largely thanks to Switch as well.

Thanks to Famitsu, we now have sales data for Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee in Japan. In its first three days, the two games sold 664,198 copies. This figure accounts for physical copies, download cards, Poke Ball Plus bundles, and Switch bundles. Digital sales are not included.

Pokemon: Let’s Go had the second best debut of any Switch game. It only trailed Splatoon 2, which managed to sell slightly more at 670,000 units.

Understandably, Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee provided a huge boost to Switch sales. The console sold 180,585 units – or three times more than the previous week.

1. Pokemon Gen ileś tam
2. Pokemon Gen ileś tam wersja specjalna

Nintendo / The Pokemon Company very pleased with Pokemon GO / Let’s Go, looking for more “synergies” with core franchise
