Apparently there is news that a new Ni No Kuni title is in the works for the PlayStation 4. This report comes from a famous industry insider who has a proven track record of being correct, thuway, who stated that along with several other JRPG titles, Ni No Kuni is also in the works for the PlayStation 4.
How's development on Ni no Kuni 2 : Revenant Kingdom going?
We're working hard on it. It's so massive a project that I believe "Ni no Kuni" has the most people working on it at Level 5 right now.
The first game was pitched at parents and children to play together; how about this one?
The game's designed for one player only. Reviewing the first game, although the main character’s backstory and the content of the game was particularly aimed at adults, the visuals seemed a little childish. Even though the lead character is a young boy again this time, I've taken care to make sure the whole game has an adult feel. With regards to the world of the game, it will be easy for both adults and children to get involved, like a Ghibli anime.
Akihiro Hino confirmed at least one new tidbit during a recent interview with Vandal.net: it will have a kingdom creation system.
“There will be many new features,” Hino said. “From the fact alone that we moved from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4, it will not be a simple RPG, and will introduce a new system focused on creating a kingdom. So yes, there will be many differences.”

Tylko to kolejny wysysacz życia w przyszłym roku...No, dorzucając do tego do nadrobienia World of Final Fantasy, odświeżone Final Fantasy XII, NieR Automata, Wiedźmina 3 to cały rok z głowy.
R1 would bring up a shortcut menu for character-specific special skills, like a flurry of sword slashes, and L1 would bring up a shortcut menu for Ni no Kuni's new helper creatures called "Higgledies." Higgledies are tiny, elemental familiars that follow Evan around like Pikmin, and can be used to conjure spells like a fiery cyclone, a lightning storm, or a giant stone hammer. Up to four different types of Higgledies can be equipped at a time. As a whole, it's a battle system that's reminiscent of Final Fantasy XV, though less chaotic. Hino stated that he wanted combat to feel "stress-free, but exciting."
The Higgledies themselves are another strong nod to the series' Ghibli roots. Their designs echo creatures like the Kodamas from Princess Mononoke, or Soot Sprites from My Neighbour Totoro. "We wanted to incorporate something similar to the Familiars in the last game, monsters to help the main characters out in battle," Hino later explained, although some fans of Wrath of the White Witch may be disappointed at the absence of the Familiar mechanic. Also absent was an endearing supernatural companion analogous to Drippy in Wrath of the White Witch, but Hino assured us not to worry on that front: "We can't give away too much at the moment, but there'll be a specific character which will be joining Evan, and he'll be a speaking character. To give you some clue, it's different from Drippy, but this character will have a great role in this game. It's more connected to the main story."
Creating a kingdom is a major theme of Ni no Kuni II, but what kinds of new systems are there?
Hino: “Of course, a system for creating a kingdom will appear. That being said, that doesn’t mean you’re actually going to be building a town. It’s a system in which the arrangement of your workforce is what’s vital. What kind of kingdom you build depends on how you play, so you can enjoy building your own kingdom different from those of other players.
“Also, although it’s a different element from kingdom creation, there is a very big secret related to an ‘important new system’ regarding the fact that the field map appears in the style of a diorama.
“While I can’t say anything yet, this is a fairly anticipated system that, with this system alone, is enough to make me want to make a separate game.”
What’s up with the Japanese voice cast?
“I don’t want to let out any hints yet, but we’re going to have a lot of really wonderful actors.”
Bandai Namco announced Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will launch for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC via Steam on November 10 in North America and Europe.http://www.vgchartz.com/article/268418/ni-no-kuni-ii-release-date-revealed/
Niby szkoda, ale przynajmniej więcej czasu na nadrabianie zaległości ;).No i niech dopieszczają grę spokojnie.
In the Prince’s Edition, you will find the full game (no kidding), a superb steelbook case, and the Season Pass that will grant you access to two expansions of the game as soon as they are released.
This Prince’s Edition also comes with The Kingmakers, a ‘making-of’ Blu-ray disc that features interviews with Level-5 CEO and game director Akihiro Hino; the former Studio Ghibli animator Yoshiyuki Momose and the anime legendary composer Joe Hisaishi. This talented team – as well as many people from Level-5 - have already worked on the original Ni No Kuni to achieve the huge success most PlayStation 3 players know… or should know.
Dear hardcore fans of Ni No Kuni, we have prepared what we hope will be the collector’s edition of your dream with the very limited King’s Edition.
Imagine a beautifully illustrated big box, wrapped in an original artwork and filled with everything from the Prince’s Edition, and on top of that The Art of Ni No Kuni, a 148-page hardcover artbook featuring drawings, artworks and concept arts from both Momose-san and Level-5, and as a crowning final piece, add an 11″ vinyl record, The Themes of Ni No Kuni, featuring the game’s main theme composed by Hisaishi-san and wrapped in an exclusive gatefold that reveals a pop-up artwork.
Then you look closely at the visual above and say, ‘but where is the king?’ and at the same time, a crystalline tune reaches your ears as an introduction to reveal The Evolution of a King, a 20cm-tall rotating music-box that plays the game’s main theme and presents two iconic scenes from the story of King Evan.
