Ta, już to widzę. Genialna grafika, wspaniała łatwość sterowania, jedynie na dwóch UMD
Red_aka -> o czym ty piszerz? Mam amerykańską kosnolę, bios 2.0 i bodaj 2.5 wgrałem z europejskich serwerów, a teraz 2.7 z amerykańskiego.

MGS - PSP
- it's not a spin-off. it's part of the main MG(S) saga.
- it's an action game.
- the story is set to 1970, sometime after MGS3's story ends (1964).
- Big Boss is the protagonist.
- it's about how Big Boss established the Foxhound (?).
- will be released this fall.
- the gfx will be on par with the PS2 MGS games.

* Dodanie Music Visual Player – odtwarzacza plików audio wyposażony w szereg wizualizacji;
* Możliwość skorzystania z instrukcji sieciowych, przydatnych, jeśli jesteśmy nowymi użytkownikami PSP;
* RSS Timed Recorder – korzystanie z RSS rozszerzone o możliwość zapisywania multimediów;
* Opcja korzystania z PSP USB Camera (na tę chwilę jedynie Japonia);
* Nowy, szybszy tryb przewijania plików muzycznych;
* Możliwość zablokowania konsoli PSP tak, aby nie uruchamiała automatycznie płyty UMD znajdującej się akurat w napędzie.
Edit: Według Sony, firma dostarczyła 9.5 miliona PSP do sklepów... WTF, w ameryce w sklepach zalegają 4 miliony PSP O_O?

Wiecie chciał bym zobaczyć na PSP jakąś wersje God of War.

No i jeszcze jeden plus, możesz sobie ustawić japoński dubbing i angielskie napisy.

No chyba właśnie nie. A PSP version of Warhawk has been added by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. It has been rated E for Everyone, and is said to include violence. The rating itself isn’t interesting, but the mention of Warhawk on the PSP is.
Instead I hazard the guess that it will be the original PS1 Warhawk released onto the Playstation Network, that can be played on the both the PS3 and PSP.

The first feature previewed was one that would allow viewers to send ringtones to their personal mobile phones, including content from the movie itself. Viewers could extract lines of dialogue from the movie or other audio clips.
More excitingly revealed was that Sony is planning select Blu-ray titles that will include a version of the film encoded for the PSP, thus making the film portable. However, Sony didn't announce a planned release date or titles that will include this new feature.
Enter Sony, finally coming to the conclusion that they need to release a first party keyboard for the handheld to help gamers out when it comes to typing on the PSP, which can take quite some time. They offered no details about the keyboard or what it will look like, other than they are creating the device, which will be released in mid 2009 - five years after the release of the system.
"We're looking at several designs, but can't tell you anything more specific," a company representative stated.

The U.K.'s Official PlayStation site has set the internet ablaze with a rumor of the latest downloadable title for the PSP. The rumored game is the cleverly original title, flOw, that debuted on the PS3 not too long ago.
The game's product page on the UK site shows the game as being released on the handheld system. The details have it as being released as a downloadable title in January of 2008, with the site claiming that users will be able to, "Download flOw from PLAYSTATION Store (PC) and discover the unique wonder of an uncharted aquatic world.". Other details included are that the game will feature ad-hoc multiplayer of 2-4 players but no infrastructure multiplayer.
To avoid thinking it is a typo, or page error, the game has already been listed on the ESRB's official website as well. When asked about the release of Flow on the PSP, Sony responded, "SCEA has no official announcements at this time," said Scott Goryl, a public relations specialist with Sony.
Some last minute Valentine's Day plans are in the works for PSP owners tomorrow and it all comes courtesy of "Patapon". The quirky PSP title will have a demo available on both the PC to PSP PlayStation Store and the PS3 Store as of tomorrow.
Many PSP owners rushed over to the Japanese PSP Store last week and downloaded the demo from the Japanese store only to be sorely disappointed. The demo has a fair amount of text to carry out it's story line and left those PSP owners out of luck. SCEA must have caught wind of this, or just felt generous for the upcoming holiday, and has decided to extend the downloadable demo to North America.
"Yes, it is true. After reading some of your comments (you know who you are), we decided to extend the demo to all corners of the North America, thanks to the powers of the interwebs, so come February 14th, 2008, you will be able to score the free Patapon demo online over the PLAYSTATION Store for PC. But wait, there’s more! For an unlimited time only, you’ll also be able to download the Patapon PSP demo over your PS3 as well! Oh Pata-SNAP! So make sure your PSP’s Memory Stick Pro Duo is good and ready to download and transfer the demo from your PS3 over to your PSP."
Today at GDC, Chris Eden from Sony Computer Entertainment made mention of the PLAYSTATION Store on PSP in his Game Developer's Conference session. Currently the only way PSP owners can access downloadable content for their handhelds is via the PS3's PlayStation store or the PC's Store. Eden's announcement now gives hope that PSP owners will be able to have downloadable content available at their fingertips without having to plug their PSP into anything, but rather just by logging onto the internet.
The PlayStation Store for the PSP is said to allows users to "access native PLAYSTATION Store on PSP via wireless hotspot," and "Purchase and download content direct to PSP (no USB cable)." There is no release date announced or speculated but we sure hope that Sony releases this feature sooner than later.
Tom Clancy's EndWar creative director Michael de Plater is reported to have confirmed that the RTS will be released on DS and PSP, as well as 360 and PS3.
According to several reports, de Plater confirmed the game will making its way to handheld platforms at GDC. That's all we've got to go on, for the moment as nothing official has come from Ubisoft.
Sony has confirmed that its upcoming PSP Go!Messenger wireless communication service will be released on the PSP Store on Friday, February 29.
The service allows any Go!Messenger user to send video, voice and instant messages via a wireless Internet connection, including the 2,500+ Openzone hotspots provided by British Telecom (BT)
In order to utilize the service, you’ll need to own a PSP Go!Cam, an attachable video camera and microphone, along with access to a wireless connection. Consumers will not have to pay any additional charges aside from existing broadband fees.
Sony continues to push the PSP full steam ahead by providing new ways for gamers to find interest in the system. The latest avenue of attracting consumers is the release of a Mint Green PSP in Japan.
Although the system will be identical to all the others currently on the market, it gives the consumer yet another option when deciding whether or not to purchase Sony's handheld. The Mint Green release will come packaged with a Mint Green PSP Slim & Lite system, a PSP battery and a wall charger. If you are a big fan of Mint Green, and won't be traveling to Japan anytime soon, then importing the system is an option but it will set you back $228 for this core system.
Koei has announced that it will be releasing Warriors Orochi for the PlayStation Portable and PC in Europe on March 28, 2008.
The game was originally released on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 last year, though the upcoming PSP version will boost additional features in the form of full ad-hoc multiplayer support.
Will Curley, Sales Manager for Koei Europe, commented, "For the first time on PSP the huge battlefields from the console versions of Warriors Orochi have been recreated and crammed into a portable gaming experience along with the entire cast of characters.”
"Warriors Orochi is a massive step forward for Warriors games on PSP and we've been really impressed with just what we can do on PSP."
"Bringing our unique brand of tactical action to PC is also a very significant move for us as we look ahead to achieving much more on this platform. Warriors Orochi is just the first step as we look towards a number of new releases on PC in the coming months," he added.
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) announced today that Skype would be available for consumers to use on their PlayStation Portable from March 18, 2008.
The communications service will be included in next system update due later this month, with Sony also revealing that it will be releasing official microphones to coincide with the software’s release.
Here are the rumored list features rumored to be hitting later this month for the PSP. The rumored firmware is due for Release on the 18 of this month.
* PLAYSTATION 3 Network titles can be played under PSP [Remote Play] under Game. The PSP is then used as a monitor for any game playable in Playstation 3 game console.
*Real, Quicktime, and WMV audio and video codecs are now supported. Real, Quicktime, and WMV audio and video codecs are now supported.
*PSP web browser has been updated to allow compatibility with current websites.
*[Adobe Flash Player 9] has been added as a feature, using the Memory Stick Pro Duo as flash memory.

Ted Price, the President of Insomniac Games, has said that the company’s Resistance: Fall of Man series could potentially work on a handheld console, pointing to the success of Killzone: Liberation on the PlayStation Portable.
When asked whether or not the series would work on a handheld machine, Price told MTV’s Multiplayer blog, “Sure. I think that’s possible.”
Price then elaborated on the possibilities of a portable version of Resistance, stating that it doesn’t necessarily have to work as a traditional First Person Shooter (FPS) game.
“I think “Killzone” demonstrated that it doesn’t have to be a first-person shooter. I think “Killzone: Liberation” was a fantastic game, but a very different game from the original. Anything is possible”, he explained.
First, the firmware: on March 18th, PlayStation Portable owners will be prompted to update their firmware to v3.93, which expands support for PLAYSTATION Network titles.
At this time, users of the PSP Internet Radio feature will find 20 new internet radio players to enjoy. The new players are organized into more specific styles of music so that PSP users can easily find what they are looking for and listen to their favorite genres.
More than 50 percent of PSP users listen to music on their system, so we think a lot of you will enjoy this free, new expansion of their music library.
According to John Koller, Sony's PSP senior marketing manager, US sales of PSP are up 85 per cent over last April. The console's price cut and new streamlined design has helped the company target a whole new demographic namely the teenage consumer rather than the 20-something one and users are adopting PSP for internet browsing on the move, listening to music and watching videos.
"We're finding in a lot of our research that the consumer's using the PSP because of its gaming but then also because it has these other elements as some of the other devices they own, but they don't want to bring four or five devices with them in their pocket. The PSP solves all of those multifunctional demands in one product.
"It's primarily centred as a gaming machine. That said, the multifunctional aspects differentiate it from any competitive platform and that's including the DS and the iPod, the Zune and the Zen and all the other handheld products that are available in the market, inclusive of mobile phones."
"I think an area that we work hard on and will continue to work hard on is the game area. We want to create the most compelling content and work with developers to make sure that these aren't PS2 ports or console ports, and that they're priced appropriately.
"I think we need to get more of the God of War and Final Fantasy types strong brand umbrellas that have very good gameplay underneath and are unique from the PS2."
Moving on to what's ahead for PSP in 2008, Koller talks about console bundles such as the US-only God of War offering being important, the peripheral area (such as the camera, keyboard and GPS), and also says significant announcements will be laid down in the next few months going into E3.
The PSP has been out since 2005, but developers are only now beginning to realise what makes a good game for PSP, admits the PSP marketing boss.
Talking of the recent good fortunes for PSP, Sony's John Koller said: "developers and publishers are now just starting to see what the keys to success are on the PSP.
"It's not like the console world at all, and it's something we've been preaching for a while," he added, pointing to key franchises such as God of War and Daxter appearing on the handheld in unique, handheld-specific incarnations.
The key is "making a unique game under that umbrella and making it creative and have it be something that you can't play on console," explained Koller.
"One thing we've noticed is that about 1 in 2, about 50% of consumers, are using the PSP at home. And if they are then... they don't want to buy the same console game that they play on a handheld.
"So, to avoid that kind of competitive play, a lot of developers and publishers are starting to say, 'all right, maybe it's time we start making games that are unique to that system under a strong umbrella'."
ll right, maybe it's time we start making games that are unique to that system under a strong umbrellaNie, no jestem w szoku... zajęło im zaledwie kilka lat żeby na to wpaść.

Sony told me that according to Sony Pictures they expect to release the first Blu-ray disc movies with Portable Copy "later this year", but that they don't have a specific timeframe yet.
The technology, they told me, is currently under development, so Sony is also unclear on whether a PSP firmware update will be required to get it to work.
Capcom announced the sales figure for Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, which went on sale last Thursday and it’s one cool million copies sold in the first six days. Making it the fastest selling game in the series, really impressive since it’s not even a full game for the 1.7 million gamers who already own Monster Hunter Portable 2nd.
Retailer site Sinobi put the first day figures of MHP 2ndG at 670,000 copies, including 17,000 Hunter Pack G which comes with a special edition PSP. The amount is slightly higher than MHP 2nd’s 512,000 copies whose record of best selling PSP games in Japan looks vulnerable now at 1.7 million.
Official details on the latest update are below:
* While playing PSone games on your PSP, you can now customize how the buttons are assigned by going to [Controller Settings] > [Assign Buttons] and select [Custom].
* You can now quit Remote Play and choose to turn off your PS3 or leave it on after quitting. This is useful if you are performing a download and want to quit Remote Play, but still want your download to continue on the PS3. Select [Quit and Turn Off the PS3 System] or [Quit Without Turning Off the PS3 System] from [Quit Remote Play] when you press the HOME button on the PSP system.
Będzie może premiera Star Ocean: First Departure w USA??
The game features more than 5,000 questions on topics such as music, celebrities, TV, sport, nature, movies and more, together with 1,000 pictures and videos.
It will also incorporate cutting-edge technology, as Sony explains: "The focus of Buzz! Has always been on social play and the PSP version is no different, with three exciting multiplayer modes to test your quiz skills to the limit.
"Pass Around is a mode that you only need one PSP for, as you pass the system from player to player. As well as the fun of traditional quizzing, some rounds will let you prey on your opponents' general knowledge weaknesses: you can choose who to pass PSP to according to the question's subject matter."
However, this may be something that could eventually change as the game moves forward toward its release. According to Executive Producer Brendan Goss, "There are discussions right now about a PSP version, we're waiting to see how the PS2 stuff goes from a technical side with memory, then it may get ported to the PSP."
Secret Agent Clank Demo for the PSP is rumored to be dropping tomorrow.
I have to admit, I love being able to download PSP content from my PS3 rather than my PC. This was a great addition to the PS Store.
I am also hoping for some new PSP games this week.
Keep watch here for possibly more info about tomorrows update.
Publishers may finally be realizing this however, as a listing for the original Suikoden for both PS3 and PSP has popped up on the ESRB's website recently. This is almost a sure sign that the RPG classic will be re-released on the PlayStation Store in the near future, most likely for a very reasonable price of $5.99 (although it is a Konami title, so it could see a premium price like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night’s $9.99).
With the release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots upon us, speculation surfaces this morning that Konami may be ready to unveil a new Metal Gear title for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) at this year’s E3.
The rumor comes from Russian site StarSniper, which was down at the time of this writing. However, a member on the PlayStation.com forums dropped some information about the supposed upcoming PSP title.
“The game is titled Metal Gear 3: Revolver Ocelot and it takes place between MGS: Portable Ops and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. It will feature some scenes from the original Metal Gear.”
“The game uses a recruitment system similar to MGS:PO and the main character is Revolver Ocelot, looking similar to both MGS3 and MGS1. Big Boss is not a playable character, but appears sometimes during the cut scenes supervising the construction of outer heaven.”
Today, Ready at Dawn revealed that they have finished the Japanese version of God of War and thus ending their PSP development for good. They have sent back their devkits to Sony and look forward to the future, where they are certain to shine bright.
The end of an era…
June 9, 2008
With Chains of Olympus going Gold in Japan ビッチズ!), we're now officially done with PSP development.
So today we sent all our devkits back and seeing all these boxes ready to be picked up definitely marks the end of an era here at Ready At Dawn.
Atlus sent out a press release today, dating their upcoming PSP RPG for September 16, 2008. Yggdra Union is a remake of the GBA title, including fully remastered audio and visuals (featuring the artwork of famed character designer and manga artist Satoko Kiyuzuki), fully-voiced dialogue in both Japanese and English, a widescreen aspect ratio, additional difficulty settings, and new unlockable content.
Ubisoft has told GamesIndustry.biz that it still considers the PlayStation Portable as an important platform in the current videogames market.
"By way of further clarifying some recent statements made in the press, Ubisoft wants to reaffirm that it strongly supports the PSP, which holds a unique place in the market, addressing dedicated gamers and offering unprecedented power in a portable console," a spokesperson explained.
The statement comes after a GamesIndustry.biz interview last week with UK managing director Rob Cooper, in which he called for more direction from Sony with regard to its plans for the handheld.
However, while Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's own boss David Reeves recently admitted to GamesIndustry.biz that the platform did need more games, Ubisoft is keen to stress that it is looking to answer that call.
"We support the PSP with innovative game experiences and plan to publish around 12 PSP games this fiscal year, including titles for some of our top-selling brands."

Marking the 20th anniversary of Final Fantasy, Dissidia for the PSP will feature various FF characters from it's series.
Tidus & Jecht from FFX is confirmed from this scan of the latest Japanese Famitsu Magazine.
The genre for this game is filed under "Dramatic Progressive Action" instead of RPG.
I wanted to give you all a heads up that a new PSP system software update, v4.00, will be released soon, adding Google Internet search directly to the XMB (XrossMediaBar) interface.
This new upgrade replicates the Google Internet search experience, delivering the same search results that you’d get at www.google.com. And with a search history recall of 20 items, Web searches couldn’t be easier.
After you download and install the firmware on your PSP, click on the XMB’s Network icon and then the new Internet Search icon. Enter your keywords and then let Google’s algorithms do the work. You’ll need to be connected to the Internet via a wireless access point or Wi-Fi hotspot. Googling something on the go has never been more convenient on your PSP.
Another new feature delivered through the 4.00 update is the ability to change viewing speed during playback of videos stored on your Memory Stick PRO Duo, so you can speed through or slow down what you’re watching. To do this simply press the up or down directional buttons while playing a video. Enjoy!
Namely, the ability to search Google without the need of launching the PSP’s often slow Internet Browser and change the viewing speed of video played on the PSP by pressing up or down on the directional pad.
* [Internet Search] has been added as a feature under [Network].
* You can now change viewing speed during video playback by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons. Use this feature if you want to watch a video quickly, or if you want to slow down playback and listen to the dialogue carefully.
- During the battle you'll be able to pick up treasure chests.
- Nomura said there won't be more than 20 characters, but stated there might be suprises. We are guessing there will be secret unlockable characters.
- The game will have Gil and AP, however their use is a secret for now.
- Game is 50% complete, they are done with the characters.
According to this patent application filed by a certain Phil Harrison in July this year, Sony are planning some kind of mobile device with a touch screen and motion sensing:
"A hand-held electronic device is disclosed. The device may comprise a case case having one or more major surfaces; a touch screen disposed on one of the major surfaces, the touch screen; a processor operably coupled to the touch screen; and one or more tactile pixels disposed proximate the touch screen. Each of the tactile pixels includes an actuatable portion coupled to an actuator and a sensor. The actuator and sensor are coupled to the processor. The actuator is configured to actuate in response to instructions from the processor and the sensor is configured to generate signals as inputs to one or more programs executed by the processor when pressure is applied to the actuatable portion. The actuatable portion is actuatable by the actuator between first and second positions. A tactile feel of the actuatable portion is different in the first and second positions."
In addition, this patent filed just days ago regarding data transfer is almost certainly from the same device. It's obviously not clear whether this could be a successor to the PSP, or whether it's just for a new phone (the much rumoured PlayStation Phone?) but it's interesting all the same.
CANALPLAY has just launched a Video-on-Demand service for Sony's Playstation Portable. Download and watch movies, shows, animes anywhere at any time.
According to a new rumor from GameFront, Konami is working on a new Suikoden and its heading to the PSP. The respective title appeared on a Japanese retailer's system but the entry has been deleted. It may be announced this week.
Now the delightful little Locos are heading to PSP once again in LocoRoco 2. And they'll be up against the Moja Troop too:
"The Moja Troop are back with some new bosses, but this time they've also learned some songs," director Tsutomu Kouno told Famitsu. "They've been practising as hard as they can, and they've learned how to use music to sap the energy out of everyone. Now nobody feels like doing anything, so the LocoRoco have to go around the world and pep everyone back up again."
Kouno highlighted a number of new features for the sequel, but reassured fans that the charm and simplicity will remain.
"We've tried our best not to change the core gameplay too much. We're being careful to keep it from getting too complex. In the first game you could only swim on the surface of bodies of water, but here you can dive underwater. You could catch yourself on a rope by biting on it earlier, but you can bite down on more stuff this time -- you can even pull things out entirely with your teeth. We'd like to have more places where the player and the LocoRoco work together to do things, giving you a taste of what it's like playing with them."
SCE says LocoRoco 2 is about 75% complete but a release date has yet to be announced. Expect more information at E3 next week, and be sure to stick with us during the trade show as we keep you up to date on all things PlayStation.
Sony has quietly launched its PlayStation Portable video download service in the UK. The partnership with Sky brings TV shows to the handheld under the Go!View brand.
Studios including Sky Sports, NBC, National Geographic, Sony Pictures, BBC, ESPN, ABC and Disney will provide content for the service. Wow. You'll have to download the shows onto your PC first, and then transfer them onto the PSP.
Here's the bad news: it's not free. Ok maybe that was an unreasonable expectation but here's the lowdown anyway. There are three subscription packs available, each for £5 per month, covering Comedy, Sport and Entertainment; you can get all 3 for £10 per month (there's one month free trial too). You'll also be able to rent selected TV programmes and films for £1.50 or £2.50 respectively.
According to forum posters at PSPChina, the long-rumored PSP-3000 in is production and will include a built-in mic, along with minor cosmetic changes.
To substantiate their claims, one of the forum goers supplied a photo of the unit, which depicts a new button with the PS brand logo next to the two volume push buttons, in replace of the HOME button found on the PSP-1000 and 2000 series. To the right of the volume buttons is the microphone.

The firm first announced that it was working on a next generation Indiana Jones game two years ago, but has since gone quiet.
However, PEGI has just rated Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings as a 16+ Nintendo DS and PSP game. The publisher is listed as Activision.

PS2 slim-slim? Czemu nie?

A new 2D platformer starring everyone's favorite penguin pals from Disgaea has just been revealed. Very little is known about the game, but the initial screenshots look quite promising; look at the quality of these sprites! More info about Prinny: Is it Okay if I'm the Main Character? will undoubtedly come when its official website launches in September.

Sony: PSP Brite's scanlines caused by hardware, no plans to fix [update]
Though SCEA is still "looking into the problem," Sony's Japanese headquarters (SCEI) has released a statement describing the PSP-3000 (a.k.a. PSP Brite) scanline issues as being part and parcel of the new hardware. "PSP-3000 has a new LCD device with vastly improved picture quality, achieving a more natural and vivid picture than older models," said the statement (via Engadget Japan). "By improving LCD response time to reduce ghosting, the horizontal-line phenomenon becomes more visible."
Turns out, phenomenon means "no fix in sight." According to Sony, "Since this phenomenon is caused by hardware characteristics, there is no plan to fix it with system software update." We'll be interested to see if Sony of America (SCEA) has anything different to say.
Update: SCEA has finally received the corporate memo, feeding us the same official statement from SCEI.
Sony says:
"On some occasions, scan lines may appear on scenes where brightness changes drastically, due to the hardware features of the new LCD device on PSP-3000. Installed with this new LCD device, PSP-3000 offers more natural and vibrant colors on its screen, but the scan lines have come out to be more visible as a result of improving response time to alleviate the afterimages on PSP-3000. Since this is due to hardware specification, there are no plans for a system software update concerning this issue."
Anonimowy a PURE na PSP też rwie? :lol:Buerk.

To taki temat zastępczy.
Appearances aside, the main draw of the PSP-3000 is the enhanced LCD screen. In Sony’s words, the screen offers a “wide color gamut and deeper contrast ratio.” Without question, they’re exactly right on that point. Upon booting up our PSP-3000 review unit, we immediately took notice of the richer, warmer colors
Overall, the LCD screen housed inside of the PSP-3000 is fantastic. However, that’s not to say it is without issues. Indeed, the new display does away with widespread complaints of a poor LCD response time. By the same token, though, it introduces a subtle scanline-like effect visible on the edges of objects when moving quickly from side to side on the display. Is this really a huge issue? Personally, I’d have to say no.
Piracy has exerted a drag on the PlayStation Portable's software sales since day one, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, right? Wrong. Or so Sony Computer Entertainment America's Head of Hardware Marketing, John Koller, would have you believe.
?We?ve made really no secret [that there] certainly has been some piracy on the PSP,? Koller told MTV. ?We?ve seen that as a significant issue ? it?s trending down right now, we?ve seen the piracy not be as such prevalent in the last month to two months. But it has been a problem for us."
We're not sure Sony's out of the woods yet, if recent NPD figures are anything to go by. PSP continues to be a solid hardware performer, often trumping both its overweight younger sister the PS3 and Microsoft's crash-prone jack-in-the-box, but when was the last time you saw PSP software hit the top ten?
?We?ve noticed there?s kind of a ?good vs. evil? battle that we track on many of the forums and many of the pirated web sites,? Koller went on with a laugh. ?There?s certainly people that are standing up and fighting for what we consider the good side, the rights of developers and publishers to make money on their IP.
"And then there?s certainly the other side that believes that they can take as warranted. It?s kind of been nice to see other consumers going and help and fight the battle for us.?
A tech website known as EETimes is claiming that Sony may have bought the licensing rights to a new graphics processor created by Imagination for use in a successor to the PlayStation Portable.
The report states that Imagination recently boasted it has licensed the firm?s "high-performance graphics processor core to a major international consumer electronics company", sparking rumors that Sony has indeed acquired the rights to utilize the processor - dubbed the SGX55x - in the PSP2.
For those unware, Imagination has also made graphic processors for the highly successful iPhone, although its latest endeavour is likely to be decidedly more powerful than the one in Apple?s pocket-sized gadget wonder.
Of course, with no retail date, no confirmation and more than likely, no news on any of this planned to hit the mainstream media any time soon, we wouldn't hold our breath.
The next iteration in the life-consuming, but utterly addictive Harvest Moon series is set to arrive on PlayStation Portable in Japan in March next year.
Japanese magazine Famitsu carries the news that Harvest Moon: Sugar Village and Everyone's Wish, translated by IGN from Bokujou Monogatari: Sugar Mura to Minna no Negai, will be developed by Marvelous Entertainment, whose last work on the handheld was the 2007 port of Harvest Moon: Boy & Girl.
According to IGN, the story will have up to 16 branching paths and will follow the career of a young boy whose aim is to save Sugar Village from planned construction work by building a successful farm on the plot. Activities will include the usual tasks of growing crops, ranching livestock and resource gathering, alongside mini-games, including fishing, horse racing and tree chopping.
Reaktywacji? Stary, jestes porzadnie do tylu, jezeli chodzi o gry.
It's no secret that the tower-defense genre saw a gem release this past year in PixelJunk Monsters. The title, which is not only a great PlayStation Store download, features remote play via your PSP which suffers from some of the common delay issues that most remote play titles include. This issue kept a lot of gamers from being able to enjoy the game from the comfort of their beds, commutes to work, or at school from their PSPs. Thankfully, the developers are releasing a full-fledged version for the PlayStation Portable.
On top of the standard content already included with the game, Sony has announced that the PSP version shall release with more content than ever before. This gives even current owners of the title something to look forward to. We're just hoping that Sony may offer a small discount to owners who have already purchased the PS3's copy of the title.
Disgaea is a cult-classic role-playing game with a strong following and some of the coolest characters known to the genre. If you're an avid RPG gamer, chances are you've been enjoying either Disgaea 3 for the PlayStation 3 or Disgaea for the PlayStation Portable for well over a year now.
Fans of the series are in for a treat next year, however, as it appears that Disgaea 2 may be receiving a PSP release come early 2009 ? that is, according to Hong Kong magazine GameWave, which list the title down for release in Japan next March.
The rumor that a new installment of Nippon Ichi's tactical role-playing series, Disgaea is coming to PSP has been confirmed this week following the launch of the official Disgaea 2 website, which also confirms a Japanese release date of March 26, 2009.
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) will be releasing four new PlayStation Portable colours in the region this March, reports Kotaku.
First up is the Vibrant Blue and Radiant Red PSP-3000 variations, which will be available for Japanese punters to pick up on March 5, priced JPY 19,800 each. The pair were previously released by SCE Asia a few weeks back.
Finally, March 19 sees the release of the Bright Yellow and Spirited Green PSP-3000s for the same price as the above. In addition, consumers can also fork out for the Carnival Colours Value Pack, which includes a coloured PSP, Memory Stick Pro Duo 4GB, AC adaptor, battery, strap and pouch for JPY 24,800.
Do grafiki wykonanej w technice cell-shading dojdzie masa nowych scenek przerywnikowych, kilka poziomów trudności, więcej miejsc do zapisu stanu gry i generalne usprawnienia w balansie.
Plastic Little) mangaka potrafi malować naprawdę piękne panie. I biusty, biusty też mu wychodzą. Premiera w maju.

Razem z programami typu GO!View i GO!Cam będzie to bardzo ciekawa oferta.
Without further ado, here?s a taster of what you can expect from Sony?s trusty slab throughout 2009 and beyond:
- LittleBigPlanet - Developed in conjunction with MediaMolecule, the critically acclaimed game LittleBigPlanet makes its way to the PSP, offering new SackBoy adventures with the same play, create, share experience for gamers on-the-go, in addition to brand new levels and environments specifically created for the platform.
- MotorStorm Arctic Edge - Developed by the award-winning Bigbig Studios, the team behind the best-selling Pursuit Force series, MotorStorm Arctic Edge sees the music, the festival and the brutal off-road racing arrive in the breathtaking yet lethal and unpredictable setting of Alaska. The game is also expected to hit the PlayStation 2 platform in Fall of 2009.
- Assassin?s Creed PSP Entertainment Pack - Ubisoft will debut an exclusive installment of the popular Assassin?s Creed franchise on PSP later this year. To commemorate this highly anticipated title, SCEA will launch a new bundle that includes the game, a ?Piano Black? PSP, and other content that will be announced later.

Acclaim COO David Perry has been busy today. He talked earlier about the PSP2's lack of a "stupid battery-sucking" UMD drive, and now has just spoken to Kotaku about a possible release window for the PlayStation Portable 2.
"I spoke to a developer who is working on it right now," claimed Perry. "I know this developer is already working on it, so that means they have a prototype. That would sound like a fall release to me."
Fall sounds a bit soon to us, but wishful thinking never hurt anyone. Perry, for one, is excited.
"I've been pounding on Sony for a long time to make the Playstation Portable relevant and not to let Apple stroll away with the portable game market," he said. "Look at what Apple is doing now. Why are so many investors investing in Apple game development? Trying to pitch a PSP game to investors right now is brutal."
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) director of hardware marketing John Koller has said that the firm has only revealed roughly half of the PSP?s 2009 line-up, with a number of ?triple-A? titles still yet to be unveiled.
Speaking to Kotaku, Koller stated, ?At Destination PlayStation we announced about half of the line up for the PSP this year, some fairly major, triple-A titles are coming for the back half of the year that are going to be announced in the coming months and at E3.?
VG247 has caught wind that UK-based developer Climax is apparently working on a remake of the original Silent Hill for PlayStation Portable and Wii.
Although the UK studio and Konami have refused to comment on the matter, a quick glance at Climax?s website confirms that the company is indeed busy coding away on a mysterious Wii/PSP project, along with a new game for PS3/Xbox 360.
It looks like Ready at Dawn may break its promise to drop PSP development after all. According to Joystiq's "trusted source," Ready at Dawn may already be developing a new God of War game for Sony's PlayStation Portable.
John Koller, SCEA director of hardware marketing, said earlier today that "some fairly major, triple-A titles are coming for the back half of the year that are going to be announced in the coming months and at E3.?
Could this be one of the AAA games Sony was referring to? It seems quite likely. Back in December 2008, Ready at Dawn stated that it was reconsidering PSP development.
"Two out of five top PSP games sold on Amazon in the U.S. last week were Ready At Dawn games with Daxter and Chains of Olympus both making the top five," a post on Ready at Dawn's blog smugly notes. "Maybe we should reconsider this whole ?no more PSP games? thing because we seem to be pretty good at it."
According to the Joystiq's source, Ready at Dawn returned its PSP development kits to Sony over the summer, but received new ones later in the year.
"You know that even if we were [making the game], I couldn't [tell you]," said Ready at Dawn president and co-founder, Didier Malenfant.
?No one should sleep on that franchise,? John Koller, Sony?s head of PSP hardware marketing in North America, told me in a phone interview yesterday. ?That?s a tremendous franchise for PlayStation in general. We?ve had two that are the top two sellers on PSP right now. So, there?s definitely continued conversations with ['GTA' development studio] Rockstar on all their brands. That?s nothing that?s left the PlayStation family.?

Sony's head of PSP hardware marketing in the US, John Koller, told MTV that despite the next edition of Grand Theft Auto - subtitled Chinatown Wars - being released on Nintendo DS, Sony want more GTA on their own handheld system.
"We've had two that are the two top sellers on PSP right now," said Koller. "So, there's definitely continued conversations with Rockstar on all their brands."
When questioned about the DS entry, Koller remained calm and optimistic, despite both Chinatown Wars and The Lost and the Damned, the recently released 360-exclusive DLC for Grand Theft Auto IV, not being available on Sony's systems. "We certainly have a tremendous relationship with them and always have."
Rockstar reportedly declined to comment to MTV.
GTA: Chinatown Wars is due out on the 20th of March, on Nintendo DS. The Lost and the Damned DLC expansion for GTA4 was released exclusively on the Xbox 360 last week, and we're hoping to have a full review up sometime this week.

SCEE has announced that a new Jak & Daxter game will release later this year on PSP and PS2.
Titled Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, the game picks up from where the original trilogy left off, with Jak and furry friend Daxter teaming up with Kiera on her quest to become a Sage and save their world from the threat of darkness.
As well as the series? usual on-foot platforming, the game will also include five different aircraft allowing players to blast airborne enemies and battle sky pirates with your powerful Gunstaff ? a brand-new weapon that can transform into other new weapons.
Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier releases this Autumn, and just in case you were wondering, this isn?t an April Fools.

Lost in the mix of the the usual Japanese news this week was a bit of good news for Armored Core fans. According to Famitsu, the long-running franchise is finally getting another entry on the PSP. Unfortunately, it's a port. A really old port.
Eight Armored Core games ended up being developed for the PlayStation 2, with many saying that Last Raven was the best of them. Armored Core 3, however, was the third PS2 entry, debuting all the way back in 2002.
Continuing the recent flood of PlayStation Portable announcements, Sony has announced that SOCOM is making its way back to the handheld. Not only that, they're returning to the Fireteam Bravo brand that made up the first two installments.
SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 puts players in the "ominous world of ex-secret operatives" as they try to trave down a former KGB agent. Naturally, there are weapons of mass destruction involved, and it'll be up to players to stop it.
Continuing in the franchise's long history of multiplayer gaming, Fireteam Bravo 3 features combat through both ad-hoc and global networks and will also support online leader boards and voice chat. Under development by Slant Six Games, you can expect Fireteam Bravo 3 this winter.
Ubisoft has confirmed that the game is also coming to the PSP.http://psp.ign.com/articles/973/973545p1.html
The firmware update will introduce an Information Board on the PSP system?s XMB (XrossMediaBar) interface. Those of you who have a PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3) may be familiar with this feature, which displays news and updates from the world of PlayStation in a scrolling ticker in the upper right-hand corner of your TV screen. Now you?ll be able to read up-to-date information about upcoming games, new content available on PlayStation Store, and other news right on your PSP whenever you?re at a wireless Internet hotspot.
In addition, we?ll be adding a few more enhancements with the 5.50 update:
* Memory Stick improvements ? You?ll be able to create and access sub-folders on your Memory Stick PRO Duo for music, videos and photos. Separately, the available space required to download a file from PlayStation Store to your Memory Stick has been reduced significantly.
* Internet search for games directly from the XMB ? You?ll be able to easily search the Internet for information about your PSP games. Select the icon for the game, hit the Triangle button, and then select [Internet Search] from the options menu to get search results based on the game title. This feature was added to PS3 with the recent 2.70 update.
* Trend Micro trial ? PSP?s Internet browser is a great tool for checking out your favorite Web sites on the go, and we?re teaming up with the Internet security experts at Trend Micro to make the Web browsing experience safer and more secure. With the 5.50 update, you?ll have the option to access a free trial of two Trend Micro services:
Trend Micro Web Security uses Web reputation technology to block PSP owners from accidentally visiting a Web site that may contain malicious content designed to steal personal information and confidential data.
Trend Micro Kids? Safety uses URL filtering technology to prevent children from accessing Web sites that feature inappropriate content.
If Europeans are hoping for new PSP colors like us in North America, you're going to have to continue to hold your breath.

Broken Destiny isn't a port, though; the Project Soul team has built this version specifically to target beginners and novice players with SCIV's content but has added improvements. There will be arcade, versus, and survival modes, as well as a character creation mode, but the only details disclosed at this point are that there will be new parts to play with in the creation mode and that the other modes have been "evolved." What we do know is that a new single-player mode is being implemented to bring new players up to speed and show them the intricacies of the game--almost like an enhanced tutorial system. It is designed to help improve your fighting skills, so newcomers who might be intimidated by the series can find a way to ease into an intense fighting regimen. There are more than 80 exercise missions for you to hone your fighting skills in.
The game is currently set to be released exclusively on the PSP this summer.
Namco Bandai didn't release many specifics, but we do know that the portable version of the game is set to release alongside the other console iterations and will pack additional stages, content, items, and an ad-hoc multiplayer mode using "original" and "fan favorite characters." The PSP version will also have "Ghost" Infrastructure mode so that a player can upload his or her character data as well as download others' to see how everyone's skills stack up.

Rumors have indicated that Sony's next (also rumored) PlayStation Portable, PSP Go!, will have flash memory much like the iPod Touch or iPhone. According to PC World's Game On, that's incorrect. Their sources have claimed that the secret handheld device won't use flash memory, but rather a new type of memory stick that was unveiled at CES 2009, the Memory Stick HG-Micro. This form of memory stick allows for a 60Mb/s transfer rate, which happens to be 40Mb/s faster than the current Pro Duo model.
"Think something like the Memory Stick HG-Micro," Game On's Matt Peckham in reference to the PSP Go!'s memory, "with a 60MB/s transfer rate, approximately 40MB/s faster than original Memory Stick Duo."
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has today announced that PSP? can June look forward to arriving the arrival of a new distinguishing colour PSP, the Vibrant Blue PSP-3000. This PSP comes available for Europe and STOP region.
Ready or not, here comes another Star Wars game. Lucas Arts announced Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron for the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS, promising to take multiplayer to a new level.
The new installment is a twist on the Battlefront series, giving players the ability to start a battle on land, then take to the skies and space in a vehicle, then land on a capital starship and continue the battle. The game spans the entire Star Wars saga and beyond.
The single-player story of Elite Squadron puts the player in the role of a clone trooper, X2, who joins the Rebellion against the wishes of his twin, X1.
You can expect a ton of customization in the PSP version, with the ability to modify your character?s clothing and body, and hundreds of unlockable items to create a personalized clone trooper.
Elite Squadron features 16-player multiplayer enhanced with stat tracking, and an all-new ?Heroes and Villains? mode that puts you in the roles of major Star Wars heroes and villains like Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett.
Our trusty inside source spills the beans about Sony's long-term strategy. The PSP-Go! is real, and should be announced at E3.
The other bit of information concerns the worst-kept secret in gaming, the upcoming UMD-less PSP that should be revealed at E3. Our mole says that yes, it's the real thing, and we can expect it to be lighter than its UMD-sporting predecessor, along with lower power consumption and possibly a lower price.
The PSP-Go will be sold right next to its bigger brother, which won't be taken from store shelves any time soon. A good number of titles will be released with both retail releases and digital downloads, with some games like Unbound Saga forgoing a retail release altogether. I also doubt that Patapon 2 will be the last game sold as a download voucher inside a plastic case, although we don't have any firm information about that strategy at this time.
The PSP Go leak confirmed two things: that the device was real and that it's coming at E3, and that Sony's experience with the Mylo internet device wasn't going to be wasted. They look almost exactly the same.
There were a couple hints leading up to this. There was the patent for a mystery device that could browse the web and play back music?but also had a touchscreen. There was the rebranding of the Mylo into an Internet Device, which was strange to us at the time.
But why is Sony using the Mylo body to make a flash-based PSP that won't replace the PSP 3000? I have no idea. Maybe they felt bad for the only very lightly-used machines and molds they had for the Mylo and wanted to give them a purpose?
Czyli tylko mi sie podoba PSP GO?
Ja z kolei sie glowie nad brakiem touch screena...
I Blu-Ray.Hehe

Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be released for PSP this autumn.
Developed by the award-winning studio Rockstar Leeds, in conjunction with series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be available at retail on UMD and digitally from the PlayStation Network.
"We're proud to extend this truly unique handheld Grand Theft Auto experience to PSP and offer a downloadable version of Chinatown Wars for PSPgo," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games.

Specifically built for the PSP, the game will feature upscaled widescreen graphics, enhanced lighting and animation, plus all-new story missions.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced today the PlayStation Portable New Hunters Pack. The bundle will be offered in Radiant Red and Vibrant Blue variations, each with unique packaging themed around a particular monster from the game.
Outside of the game and packaging, these are standard PSP-3000 units and come packaged with an AC adapter and a 1200mAh battery pack.
On their own, PSP-3000 goes for ?19,800 with MHP2G's budget version going for ?3,140, making this a savings of nearly ?2,000.
We continue to see more and more PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games finding their way to the PSP. The latest game getting the PSP port is Konami?s PS2 game Shadow of Memories, also known as Shadow of Destiny. Japan will get the time-travelling adventure in UMD format, and presumably downloadable format, on October 1.
The game stars time-travelling Eike, who suddenly gains said ability after he dies. Your goal is to prevent Eike?s death. Of course, it?s not that simple. As the story progresses, you are presented with some choices that will have an impact on the ending of the game.
Aktualnie nad grami i aplikacjami powstającymi z myślą o specjalnym, odseparowanym fragmencie PS Store przeznaczonym dla PSP pracuje około pięćdziesięciu firm.
Wszystko jednak zweryfikuje reakcja rynku. Przypominamy, że PSP Go wystartuje najpewniej w październiku bieżącego roku. Także wtedy nowa strategia Sony powinna wkroczyć w decydującą fazę.
Arne Cual-Pedroso, Public Relations Manager of Namco Bandai, confirmed that Tekken 6 for PSP will also offer download content. They are not certain yet what it could be and are discussing about new costumes, characters, arenas, etc.
It is known that the PSP version will have additional content like levels and an Ad-Hoc multiplayer mode.

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is now available for the PSP, and with its launch, NIS announced today that it will release past PSP titles on the PlayStation Network in the coming weeks.
Past titles, like Prinny, Disgaea, and Blade Dancer, will be available for prices ranging from $4.99 and $12.99 USD for a sale running between October 1 and October 7. The sale marks each game 50% off from its original price tag. There?s no word at this time whether or not these older games will be released in Europe.
Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days, the PSP version of Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories on the PlayStation 2, adds in additional Axel chapters and several new systems. One added system is taken from Disgaea 3. The Magichange system, which gives monster-type ally characters abilities to change into weapons, is now incorporated into the PSP game.
