Nowe info:

Wii Sports Club – golf, baseball, boxing details
Cytuj
Golf

- Use the GamePad and the TV screen
- Place the GamePad on the floor first, as shown in Wii U’s concept video back at E3 2011
- Ball is shown on the GamePad screen by your feet
- Fairway is on the TV screen
- Play like real golf
- If you face the Wiimote Plus toward the GamePad by your feet, the head of the club appears on screen
- If you twist the Wiimote Plus controller, the club head also turns
- Hit in that position and you can hit a fade and so forth
- Coming “soon”

Baseball

- Swing the Wiimote Plus like a bat
- Pitcher uses the GamePad
- Also similar to the Wii U concept video
- Look into the GamePad and choose a course and type of pitch

Boxing

“For Boxing, we’re considering a lot with regard to network compatibility and so on. I think you’ll have to wait a little longer for that.”

Wii Sports Club gives you an extra 24 hour trial period with each new sports release; pricing explained
Cytuj
Iwata: Instead of being a regular packaged game, Wii Sports Club will be available as download software either via a Day Pass ($1.99) which allows you to play all the available sports as much as you want for 24 hours, or a Club Pass ($9.99), which you have the option to be able to play a particular sport as long as you want. Why is that?

Shimamura: To be honest, it started from the point when we thought that since it will take some time to make all five sports and release them at once, what if we were to release them in the order they’re ready. If we were to release them in a package, it would be quite some way down the road before all of them were ready.

Iwata: And besides, your president wanted to play as soon as possible. (laughs)

Shimamura: Yeah! (laughs) I do think, however, that there are a lot of benefits to this approach. And this is an online game. If we were to release all five games at once, the customers would divide up into the different games. But if we put them out like an irregular periodical, people can thoroughly enjoy each individual sport.

Iwata: So first you prepared Tennis and Bowling for people play and enjoy.

Shimamura: Yes. Usually when you download software, you go to the Nintendo eShop, pay, and then download.14. Nintendo eShop: A shopping site that can be enjoyed many ways on a Nintendo 3DS or Wii U system-from downloading games over the internet to viewing introduction videos.

    Iwata: Right.

Shimamura: That’s incredibly easy, but there are a certain number of people who find that to be a pain. So this time, in order to reduce that hassle, if your Wii U is connected to the internet and you have at least 1.3 gigabytes of free space, Wii Sports Club comes in to your Wii U automatically through SpotPass.15. Free space: To determine how much free space is left on a Wii U console using the Wii U GamePad, open System Settings in the Wii U Menu, select Data Management, and then press Copy/Move/Delete Data.

Iwata: I believe those who updated their Wii U console the other day received a message upon opening their system again asking if they would like to automatically receive content via SpotPass. If you answered “OK” and have 1.3 gigabytes or more of free space, Wii Sports Club will be delivered automatically.

Shimamura: That’s right. One day, you suddenly have the Wii Sports Club icon, but if you couldn’t play right away without paying first, that would be a hassle too, so from the moment you start the game, you can play for the first 24 hours for free.

Iwata: First we’d like people to try it, and if there’s a game they like, they can then purchase it with a Club Pass.

    Shimamura: That’s it.

Iwata: What is the point of the other pass, the Day Pass?

Shimamura: Suppose your grandfather is coming over to visit. This way, everyone can enjoy Bowling together for a day. The price is reasonable, so even when friends get together, I hope they will feel free to make use of it.

Iwata: So Wii Sports Club comes in automatically through SpotPass. And at first there are two sports. What about after that?

Shimamura: Even without you doing anything, one day Golf will suddenly be there.

Iwata: So the first 24 hours, you can play Tennis and Bowling for free, and later, even people who were playing other games will suddenly get Golf.

Shimamura: Right. We’ve decided to run a special campaign when Golf comes out. When a new sport comes in, you’ll be able to play past games as well, as much as you want, for 24 hours.

Iwata: So every time there’s a new release, there’s a free 24 hour trial period. So you don’t miss out if you start early. As a matter of fact, it’s a better deal if you actually start sooner.

    Shimamura: That’s right.

Iwata: Including the first time, there will be at least four time that can happen. Put another way, you have four days where you get to play for free.

    Shimamura: That’s 96 hours! (laughs)

Makino: It would be a shame not to make use of them! (laughs)

Wii Sports Club review
Cytuj
In Short: At first a HD remake of Wii Sports seems a faintly ludicrous idea but the game is still a great introduction to gaming, and to the potential of motion controls.

Pros: As fun and accessible as ever. New controls and updated visuals work well. Some lag problems with tennis but generally competent online features.

Cons: Both games (and the other three) are still innately shallow gameplay experiences, with the new controls risking the game’s all-encompassing accessibility.

Score: 7/10

Wii Sports Club: Tennis Review

Cytuj
Conclusion

Wii Sports Club: Tennis has some high points, with controls that need more mastery than simplistic waggle, a fun Club aspect and occasionally enjoyable online multiplayer. It hits the net cord a few too many times, however, with a bizarrely fiddly online Friend match setup and terribly inconsistent online that fundamentally fails to minimise lag if an opponent's connection is sub-optimal. When playing locally with friends or for the most part when playing alone it's as enjoyable as ever, but it fails to win a grand slam across its various features; it's an opportunity narrowly missed.

Wii Sports Club: Bowling Review
Cytuj
Conclusion

Wii Sports Club: Bowling was always, barring an unfortunate split, a clear Strike opportunity for Nintendo and its contracted developer of choice, Namco Bandai. Aside from the flawed Friends online setup, online matches benefit and work handsomely due to the turn-based focus, while options to play standard, 100-pin or curve challenge modes add to the experience. Stepping on from the Wii Sports Resort offering, the Miiverse and Club implementation also work well, while the Skill Shaper modes are quick but fun diversions.

Unlike the flawed experience of its Tennis counterpart this truly does feel like a natural evolution of the original two iterations, and is well worth consideration.

Golf joins Wii Sports Club line-up: Get ready to tee off as Wii Sports Club introduces a new sport to its roster as of today – Golf. Offering a more realistic experience than the Wii Sports iteration, Golf allows players to review the course terrain and wind direction on the TV screen before getting down to the shot by swinging their club – a Wii Remote Plus controller – at the ball displayed on the Wii U GamePad laying on the floor in front of them. Featuring a newly developed nine-hole course based on a Famicom game called Golf US Course – coupled with the existing nine-hole course from Wii Sport s - Golfincludes online multiplayer functionality and releases with a 24-hour free trial so all players can try the game, as well as Tennis and Bowling, before purchasing. The trial offer is open to everyone, even to people who sampled a 24-hour free trial of Wii Sports Club before*. Boxing and Baseball will be coming to Wii Sports Club in 2014.

Golf jest dostępny od dzisiaj.

Review: Wii Sports Club: Golf
Cytuj
Conclusion

We're not going to penalise Wii Sports Club: Golf for being realistic, well designed and challenging to play. Despite its smiling Mii aesthetic this game has the core functionality to be put to use in a more serious, full-on golf title, and that's impressive and a delight to experience; it shows what the Wii U's controllers can do when in perfect harmony. That makes clear, however, that less-skilled players will need plenty of patience and practice to improve, necessitating the ability to find fun in constantly struggling for respectable scores early on. While acceptable in itself, this game simply doesn't do enough to guide and help those that don't really appreciate or understand golf, which is a peculiar failing to attribute to Nintendo. This isn't a "just wave the Remote around" experience like the iconic Wii game.

Yet if players know what they're getting into, this is a more than worthwhile experience on the Wii U. The use of the GamePad on the floor is clever and is a must for future golf games on the system, and this is the closest you're likely to feel to actually playing golf from the comfort of your living room. Despite its light-hearted appearance this goes some way to showing the delicate balances and intricacies of the sport, an entirely different experience from the repetitive natures of tennis and bowling. For those seeking more challenge and less waggle, this is a must.

Może sprawdzę, ale dość średnio u mnie z miejscem na takie rzeczy. W każdym razie golf wydaje się być naprawdę spoko.
