Yasunori Mitsuda is the lead composer on Xenoblade Chronicles 2. On his personal Facebook page this week, he provided a status update on the music.http://nintendoeverything.com/xenoblade-chronicles-2-composer-says-its-the-largest-production-hes-worked-on-trying-to-top-the-original/
Recording for Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s music appears to be pretty much complete. It was worked on by 150 people (note: in case this isn’t clear, this is just the musicians), the largest production Mitsuda has been involved with. The mixing process for music began this week.
Mitsuda also said he is responsible for budget management, booking, music sheet management, and composing.
While not officially announced, it appears Xenoblade Chronicles X will be receiving a soundtrack based on some comments exchanged on the Facebook page. Mitsuda and pianist for the session indicated that the OST is happening, but a release date isn’t fixed yet.
Finally, on his blog, Mitsuda added that mixing the music only started for the cut-scenes, so it’s just half of the tracks. The recording sound quality is good, and the team is trying its best to top the original Xenoblade. Mitsuda concluded by saying it’s among one of the largest scale projects in the whole gaming world.
I want to make something that people can look back on fondly one day as something that really shaped their lives. Something like what I loved as a boy, like Oliver!(by Carol Reed) and Galaxy Express 999(by Rintaro).http://nintendoeverything.com/xenoblade-chronicles-2-message-from-takahashi-started-while-xenoblade-chronicles-x-was-still-in-development/
— That’s why I started working on this game.
I’ll leave the stories about the solemn old men and hot stylish guys to someone else(even though there’s way more demand for that stuff), and go ahead with this.
That’s what was on my mind around the end of 2014 through early 2015.
Yeah, we started while Xenoblade X was still in development.
We’re building a whole new ‘Xenoblade’ title using the foundation laid by X. That’s the core of the project.
Some people think exploration is what games should be all about, while some are like “no no, story is what’s best.” Well we’ve got something perfect for both of those kinds of people: Xenoblade 2.
On Tuesday, the Twitter account for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 revealed that Tetsuya Nomura, know for his work on the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts franchises, would be a guest character designer for the game.https://www.destructoid.com/tetsuya-nomura-is-a-character-designer-for-xenoblade-chronicles-2-444316.phtml
It was a Switch exclusive from the start.
(...)
Will there be any data packs to help the console along, like in Xenoblade Chronicles X?
We have no such plans for the time being.
(...)
Exploration will have an even more decisive role in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. With regard to the number of places to explore and visit, I think we’re going far beyond what Xenoblade Chronicles X was able to offer.
On the theme in Xenoblade Chronicles 2…http://nintendoeverything.com/takahashi-working-with-switch-vs-wii-u-nomura-collaboration-would-love-to-think-about-xenoblade-x-switch-port/
In terms of a theme in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, there are all of these Titans, and their lifespan is about to end. The people living on these Titans now have to find a way to continue their lives, because the land they’ve lived on is about to die. So it’s about these people’s quest to find where to live.
Also, there are these lifeforms called Blades. They’re not human, as the title indicates — the “Xeno” part of the title, which means they’re not human. They’re unique lifeforms, and there’s this theme of how humans and Blades can coexist and learn to live with each other, and learn to not only coexist, but protect the world that they live in.
On working with Switch compared to Wii U…
The ease or speed of developing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 stems a lot from our having already created this architecture with Xenoblade Chronicles X. The game portion of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is kind of overlaid on top of that fundamental architecture. I think that made the biggest contribution to why development went so fast. And in terms of Switch versus Wii U, another point is that we’ve only had to deal with one screen, so that also has made development a little bit easier.
(...)
On a possible Switch version of Xenoblade Chronicles X…
Thank you for that feedback. I think we’re currently completely focused on creating Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and even after I go back to Japan, I have a mountain of tasks that I need to overcome. But I would love to think about it, after the development for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is completed.
Nomura jest bardzo dobrym character designerem i grze się przyda, bo koleś w niebieskich, pancernych pieluchach nie robi roboty.Przeciez Nomure zatrudnili PRZED, nie PO kolesiu w pieluchach. Caly Nomura...

And there it is, the December 1st release date.http://nintendoeverything.com/xenoblade-chronicles-2-message-from-takahashi-much-more-to-see-different-battle-themes/
The office has been a whirl of activity lately, fixing bugs and making final balance adjustments, but we’re almost there. I’m so grateful that everyone has put so much effort into crafting the game up until now. (Just look at all that grass that’s grown.)
I finished up a full check of the game the other day…we’re checking through the enormous amount of quests and in-game content now, but [Koh] Kojima(Producer) and everyone will be assisting, so I’m honestly not worried at all.
So, the trailer today only just introduced the basics. The characters and areas shown were only a small part of the whole, Xenoblade 2 has plenty more in store for players.
And the Blades are a must-see. We debuted “Finch”, who was designed by Kunihiko Tanaka, and there are many more rare Blades for everyone to look forward to! By the way, the song playing in the background of the battle explanation was “Fight!!”, by [Kenji] Hiramatsu, and it primarily plays in the early areas of the game. Different locations and situations will have different battle themes, so you can look forward to those too!

– You can toggle a simpler UI in the middle of battle that removes descriptions, helpful for removing clutterhttp://nintendoeverything.com/new-xenoblade-chronicles-2-details/
– The UI issue where the level of special art is not shown for the first stage has been resolved
– The Unique Monster Theme may have been changed
– There’s a mechanic where you can combine the Break, Topple, Launch with the Special Arts
– Extending Chain Attacks seems to be based on Bursting the Elemental Orbs rather than random affinity between characters
– There’s an announcer like Baten Kaitos who exclaims when something rad is happening
– There is probably way more choice making at any given moment than either Xenoblade X or the original
– When the game begins, Rex is working as a Titan merchant, selling resources from the more plentiful Titans to ones that have none for money
– While on a job with a team of mercenaries, he meets Pyra, who wants to go back home to Elysium, the tree where all creatures come from
– Blades do not level up
– As you use them more and more, their affinity with a Driver upgrades and they become more powerful and effective, especially in combos
– Those that are trying to stop Rex and Pyra are just after them because they’re Wanted, not actually knowing why they’re trying to stop them
– This Wanted status was put on Rex and Pyra by some higher, unknown force
– Nomura designed everything for Torna’s Titan, from characters to ships to housing and more
– Nintendo contracted a whole bunch of manga, anime, and game artists to design dozens of characters, Titans, etc., including people who have worked on Fire Emblem and Macross, among other things
– There is a theater where you can watch performances that tell the world’s story
– These are actually important to the story, one particularly so

Majtkowy schodzi na drugi plan.
On the art style…http://nintendoeverything.com/xenoblade-chronicles-2-devs-on-the-art-style-past-series-relations-world-size-gameplay-length-whats-next/
“We felt that in Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and X, the facial expressions [were] kind of a little bit hard, a little bit stiff. We really wanted to put a little bit more focus on creating facial expressions and for the characters to be more expressive, and so that’s why we went with the direction we did, which I guess you could say is a little bit leaning toward something like Japanese animation.” – Takahashi
On how this game relates to the original Xenoblade Chronicles / Xenogears / Xenosaga…
“It’s completely different in terms of place, time, and space. Obviously I can’t divulge all the details, but if you play the game, I think you’ll get why this is called Xenoblade Chronicles 2.”
“There’s a lot that I can’t talk about yet [that] hasn’t been revealed, but it will be hopefully soon. I think there’s content in there where longtime fans of the series will have a pleasant surprise.” – Takahashi
On the size of the world…
“Because this game is story-driven, I don’t think that an open world is necessarily appropriate. And I feel that we were able to make a game [with a world] that’s really appropriate and really supports the story-driven aspect of this game. For example, if you compare it to Xenoblade 1, there’s plenty of places [and worlds] to explore; but when you look at simple surface area, it might be a little bit smaller than Xenoblade Chronicles X. Like I mentioned, I don’t think that such a vast space is necessary, so instead of focusing on increasing the raw surface area, we thought it was more important to increase the density and pack in as much variety in design [as possible], and for people to be able to enjoy the changing landscape as they traverse and explore this world.” – Takahashi
On the length…
– Game has 10 chapters
– At chapter 4 Game Informer was around the 45-hour mark
“As you may or may not have expected, the playtime required to beat this game is a little on the high side. If you just play the mainline story, there’s still enough to probably be comparable to Xenoblade 1, but like in past Xeno series, if you are just playing the main story, there might be times where you encounter a boss or an enemy that’s actually a little bit too tough or very tough for you to beat. I strongly recommend taking side roads, taking the time to explore different areas, defeating monsters, picking up items, leveling your character up, [and] doing quests.” – Takahashi
On the future…
“Moving forward, if we do another story-driven Xenoblade game, I was thinking I’d like to keep the numbering going.” – Takahashi
“Now that we’ve gone through the process of development, we’re in a spot now where I’m beginning to think about what we want to do next. We’ll really be keeping our ears to the ground to see what fans are wanting, what they’re looking forward to. We’ve enjoyed this collaboration with Nintendo so far. We really are thinking about where to go next, and that’s where I’m at right now.” – Kojima
Let’s see… On Xenoblade2, I wrote the main theme, important event themes, and the vocal theme that plays in the end of the game. The soundtrack in total was a staggering 120 pieces, but that was divided among five people. As a result, I wrote a lot more music than the previous game’s soundtrack had. The portion I was responsible for has a lot of pieces that I think will really remind you of Xenogears. I tried not to break down the Xeno sound that I built up (like I mentioned earlier in this interview), so I hope you’ll enjoy it.http://nintendoeverything.com/yasunori-mitsuda-on-kid-icarus-uprisings-soundtrack-says-xenoblade-2-soundtrack-has-120-pieces-of-music/

Poza niższą rozdzielczością (co oczywiste choćby ze względu ba ekran konsoli), nie widzę specjalnych różnic. – “Event Theater” function added to watch cut-scenes
– Ability to receive content from Expansion Pass added; “Expansion Pass” added to the main menu where you can receive items
– Game balance adjusted
– Various fixes to improve gameplay
Also coming to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on release day is the first part of the Expansion Pass. Several support items will be available, including:
– 50,000G
– 3 cream orange paratas (pouch items)
– 10 silver cylinders
– 5 common core crystals
Note that the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Expansion Pass download will require 600MB of space as of now.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a real gem for the Switch. But there are some downsides. In handheld modus there are framedrops and the game suffers from the limited capacity of the console. Still, the 100 hours of gameplay are more than worth it.
Moving on to how the game plays, there's a clear split between docked and portable play. Short answer first - this game is best enjoyed when docked on a TV. The resolution and action belong on a big screen, and though there are still performance hiccups it's smooth enough; it's not a game where lightning reflexes are required. It's also playable on the portable, but the evidently dynamic resolution goes from passable to rather fuzzy depending on what's going on.http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/nintendo-switch/xenoblade_chronicles_2
It feels like one of the biggest docked / portable gulfs yet on the Switch, and combining the busy action with a dipped resolution and occasional framerate drops can be a tad underwhelming on the portable. Out of necessity to hit a deadline we played a decent amount on the handheld and it was still enjoyable, but the game is truly at home when docked and treated as a home console experience. Another factor is time - as mentioned above this is a game full of lengthy battles and cutscenes, which are more suited to quiet time at home than a quick bit of gaming on the go; nevertheless, you can pop your system into sleep with the game still running if you're keen to keep your place.

Nonetheless, it marks the best debut for the franchise in the UK so far, as sales are up by a third compared to Xenoblade Chronicles X, which was released on the Wii U two years ago. While we don’t have exact numbers yet, Xenoblade Chronicles X sold 10,500 copies in the UK in its first week, so Xenoblade Chronicles 2 should be at about 14,000. First week sales for the original Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii were at 6,000, so the series has been experiencing a steady growth.http://nintendoeverything.com/xenoblade-chronicles-2-sales-1-3-higher-in-the-uk-compared-to-x-mario-odyssey-overtakes-botw/
Basically, this is what we get:http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=233325
- Locked 720p resolution on Docked mode
- In portable mode, resolution ranges between 552 to 368p, the lowest in any Switch game to date. Seems pretty bad...
- Although resolution is the same as XCX, almost everything has been upgraded: shadows, effects, lightning, texture quality, AA, collisions... everything is better now
- Framerate is for the most part solid 30fps...
- but the game has a strange problem with how memory is handled by the console that makes it go under 25fps during certain moments. It is fixed if you turn the console of and on... but it will appear with the time. Hopefully, it may be fixed with a patch.

Greetings to everyone playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2. This is Director Takahashi at Monolith Soft. Today I’d like to talk about the main updates that will be seen in the Ver. 1.1.1 update, which will be distributed next week on Friday December 22nd.http://nintendoeverything.com/official-overview-of-upcoming-xenoblade-chronicles-2-updates/
In addition to some bug fixes, we will address the following points:
An easy mode will be added to Tiger! Tiger!
When you press the X Button, the Skip Travel screen will open the map to your current location. We hope this will make it easier to spot Skip Travel locations and Salvage Points on the map.
An additional 1:1 zoom on the mini map will be displayed by pressing the L Stick. This will allow improved visibility of your surroundings and make it easier to check quest locations.
We will further improve the convenience of the mini map as we add more quests and additional elements for second playthroughs next year. We appreciate your continued patience.
Note: The second playthrough elements will be available for all players, not just those who purchased the Expansion Pass.
In your second playthrough, you will be able to have “those” Blades join your party! You can also dispatch Blades like Pyra and Dromarch as a Merc Group, and unlock the “LV 4 Special” of a certain Blade.
We will distribute the following useful items to those who purchased the Expansion Pass:
Driver Essentials Set: 10 x Rare Core Crystal, 1 x Legendary Core Crystal, 3 x Overdrive Protocol
Upgrade Parts for Poppi: 30,000 ether
Pyra’s Favourite Things: 5 x Jenerossi Tea
Nia’s Favourite Things: 5 x Ardainian Bear Carving
Monolith Soft will continue to add improvements that will make the world of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 even more enjoyable for a long time. And even though there may be times when we cannot address every need immediately because we are working on these improvements in parallel with the Expansion Pass, we truly appreciate your continued support for Xenoblade Chronicles 2!
Patch noteshttp://nintendoeverything.com/xenoblade-chronicles-2-update-out-now-version-1-1-1/
Fixed an issue occurring in the Gormott regular quest “One Step Ahead,” where acquiring the Healing Herb quest item at 12:00 caused the item to fail to be counted in the quest log, preventing completion of the quest.
Fixed an issue occurring in the Gormott regular quest “A Young Man’s Prize,” where acquiring the Snow-White Rhino quest item at 7:00 caused the item to fail to be counted in the quest log, preventing completion of the quest.
Fixed an issue occurring in the Gormott regular quest “The Riddle on the Wall,” preventing quest progression.
Fixed an issue occurring in Perceval’s blade quest “Failure and Success,” preventing quest progression.
Fixed an issue occurring in Gorg’s blade quest “Follow Your Passion,” preventing quest progression.
Fixed an issue occurring after viewing the “Something in Common” movie in the “Chapter One: Encounters” section of the Events Theater causing the camera to continue shaking after returning to the game.
Made adjustments to improve the stability of performing certain actions.
Due to these adjustments, time required for Skip Travel and loading event cut scenes has become longer in some instances and shorter in others.
A Pro Controller can now be used when the Joy-Con Controllers are attached to the system in Tabletop Mode.
Added an Easy difficulty to the Tiger! Tiger! mini game.
Added a new size of map to the mini map.
Pressing X when in the field to open the Skip Travel screen, the map of your current location will open.
Added functionality to allow players to receive the second round of items associated with the Expansion Pass.
There are about 40 Blades in the game, including the common ones. More Blades will be added with post-release updates, including in the Expansion Pass. However, Takahashi also says that not all Rare Blades are actually rare. The highest graded Common Blades (4 stars) are more powerful and difficult to obtain than some Rare Blades that are of low rank and more common to obtain.http://nintendoeverything.com/xenoblade-chronicles-2-director-on-development-inspiration-for-the-world-and-setting-upcoming-dlc-more/
(...)
Takahashi estimates that Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s map is of about the same size as 1. However, he feels that this title has more playthrough method possibilities.
(...)
Takahashi is confident that the gimmicks in the game will allows completionists to play for a very long time. Just simply beating the main game story doesn’t let you unlock everything on the Blades’ Affinity Chart. So perhaps the post-clear segment is the game’s real deal.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s story volume is about 1.2 – 1.3 times that of the original game. The overall volume is much higher due to exploration, sidequests, high-level monsters, and more. Takahashi himself recorded a little more than 60 hours to beat the main story with minimal customization and no sidequests at all.
(...)
The scenario for the new story available next year via the Expansion Pass is already done. But due to the sheer volume of it, it’s going to take a lot of time to develop; that’s why they have a long-term schedule until Fall 2018. The new story can also be played without even completing the original story first, but it would be more enjoyable if players have finished it.
Kolekcjonerka XC2 wygląda ładnie, ale nie ma w niej niczego specjalnego i chyba nie jest warta tych dodatkowych 150zł.
Wystepuje u was problem ze skaczaca jasnoscia w przerywnikach?

Zostały mi zatem jeszcze 3 i mnóstwo zadań do wykonania. Gry na 100% nie chcę masterować, ale tak na 80-90% by się przydało ;)Ja też jestem w siódmym i mam przegrane coś około 75 godzin, jak skończę grę to chyba kupię The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild bądz Ni no Kuni 2.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 players can begin to expect new Rare Blades starting in early May. They’ll be delivered in installments, meaning we’ll be seeing multiple additions.https://nintendoeverything.com/xenoblade-chronicles-2-to-begin-adding-new-rare-blades-starting-in-early-may/
Aside from Rare Blades, a bunch of other content will be delivered throughout 2018. A Challenge Battle Mode and new story DLC are also planned.
Mam chyba 76 poziom u Rexa i jest on najniższy w całej ekipie, a Malos mnie na koniec załatwia jak chce odpalając Prometeusza... A podejść się do niego nie da...Schowaj to w spoiler.

Changes and New Featureshttps://nintendoeverything.com/xenoblade-chronicles-2-update-out-now-version-1-5-2-elma-corvin-and-more-patch-notes/
Added functionality to receive Corvin, the third and final round of rare blades from the Expansion Pass.
A core crystal is available that will guarantee bonding with Corvin. Corvin possess the following characteristics:
Weapon type: Uchigatana
Element: Light
Role: Defense
Drivers bonded with Corvin become able to use an art with the reaction “Smash.”
Added functionality to the Expansion Pass to receive new challenges for the “Challenge Battle: Nopondemonium” called “Otherworldly Fighter” and “Poisoned Paradise.”
“Otherworldly Fighter” features a battle against Elma, from the game Xenoblade Chronicles X. Clearing this challenge will allow Elma to join your party as a blade.
Pressing the R and Minus buttons at the same time when all three bars of Elma’s party gauge are full will consume all three bars and engage her Overdrive ability.
While Overdrive is active, a counter is applied to all attack arts and specials that hit. As the counter goes up, the effect of the following three bonuses increases: damage boost, an Arts recharge boost from auto-attacks, and a decrease in enemy resistance to reactions and combos.
Add this challenge by selecting the following options from the main menu: Expansion Pass, Gift from Zuo 3, Nopon Summons, Pt. 2. The challenge is available from Chapter 6 onward.
“Flawless Noponstone” has been added as an item available from treasure chests in the “Challenge Battle: Nopondemonium” of the Expansion Pass.
To make this item available, select the following options from the main menu: Expansion Pass, Gift from Zuo 3, Nopon Invitation, Pt. 2.
Flawless Noponstones can be earned during any of the challenges.
Added items that can be acquired in exchange for Flawless Noponstones to the “Challenge Battle: Nopondemonium” section of the Expansion Pass.
Some of these items will slightly alter character outfits. Included in these items are “swimsuits” that will aid in completing the challenge “Poisoned Paradise.”
Certain items for Nia and Zeke will become available from Chapter 8 onward. (These items will be available from the start when playing New Game Plus.)
Mòrag’s swimsuit may cause her hairstyle to change in certain event scenes.
A Pouch Item Emporium and Noponstone exchanger have also been added to the “Challenge Battle: Nopondemonium” section of the Expansion Pass.
Noponstones can be exchanged for Flawless Noponstones using the Noponstone exchanger.
The track “Uncontrollable” from Xenoblade Chronicles X has been added to the options available when choosing which music will play during battles with unique monsters via the “Special BGM” selection.
To listen to the Special BGM tracks, the blade Elma, available via the Expansion Pass, must already be added to the party.
When Elma and either Shulk or Fiora are in the party, the BGM for the blade engaged with the player character will be given priority.
When Elma and Shulk or Fiora are of the same priority, the BGM that plays will be selected at random.

As you'll no doubt be aware if you're a keen player of the game, the new expansion is releasing this Friday for owners of the Expansion Pass, and next Friday (21st September) for everyone else. The in-game goodies on offer come in the form of bonus items which can be used in the main game - not the expansion. The items are:http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/09/all_xenoblade_chronicles_2_players_will_receive_in-game_freebies_to_celebrate_the_new_dlc
- Legendary Core Crystal x15
Pouch items:
- Char-Grilled Grumbirds x3
- Crispy Blendshake x3
- Clicky-Clacks x3
The best news is that these items aren't exclusive to those who have purchased the expansion pass, or even those who buy the DLC separately. All Xenoblade Chronicles 2 players can get their hands on the items, simply by registering the game with My Nintendo. Doing so will automatically register you into a database to receive the items, and you should find an email sitting in your inbox sometime after the 14th with a download code to redeem.
In order to receive the gift, you must do the following things:
Redeem your points on My Nintendo. If you purchased the game through the eShop you're all set - the game will have been automatically registered. If you treated yourself to a retail copy, make sure you've manually redeemed your My Nintendo points for the title. If you haven’t done so already, hover over Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the Home Menu and press + or – to access the Options screen. Select 'My Nintendo Rewards Programme', and click on 'Earn Points' to register.
Make sure your Nintendo Account is set to receive emails from Nintendo. If you've activated your game, the next step is to head over to the Nintendo Account website, go to Other Settings > Emails from Nintendo, and make sure 'Recommendations about games, events, special offers, and more' is set to 'Yes'. Going to all this trouble and having your email settings turned off would be highly frustrating!
Takahashi mentioned:https://nintendoeverything.com/monolith-soft-xenoblade-2-exceeded-expectations-in-the-west-series-could-go-down-a-path-it-hasnt-gone-down-before/
“From a sales perspective, I have to say Xenoblade Chronicles 2 exceeded my expectations. We really saw more people pick the game up and experience it in the North American and European territories than we thought would do so. It’s still early days for the Torna DLC, but from what we’ve seen in Japan, the sales of the Torna DLC are exceeding our expectations as well.”
Takahashi was later asked if the series could return to more of a sci-fi setting along the lines of Xenoblade Chronicles X. Interestingly, he said that “a third option” could be pursused instead where the IP could “go down a path it hasn’t gone down before.”
According to Takahashi:
“I’m someone who gets bored of whatever it was I did last. If the [Xenoblade Chronicles] series continues, you just might see it take a third option. It might go down a path it hasn’t gone down before.”
