The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask w zamyśle mogła zostać połączona z Game Boyem, lecz rozwiązanie te nie zostało ostatecznie zaimplementowane.
- EAD Tokyo Team working on new 3D Mario action game for Wii U.http://gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=194711
- Also working on Mario Kart for Wii U
- both to be shown in playable form at E3
Nintendo's 3D Mario for Wii U now has a name: Super Mario 3D World. During its pre-E3 2013 Nintendo Direct, the publisher highlighted EAD Tokyo's next project, which draws heavy inspiration and design elements from its last game - Super Mario 3D Land for Nintendo 3DS. 3D World is due out in December 2013.http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/06/11/e3-2013-super-mario-3d-world-revealed-for-wii-u
3D World will also support four players simultaneously, as Toad, Luigi, and Princess Peach will join Mario on his adventure. What's key here is that all four characters have unique traits, just as they did back in Super Mario Bros. 2. Peach can once again briefly float in mid-air, Toad is slightly faster with a slightly different weight, and Luigi once again has a longer, higher jump.
As part of the game's debut trailer, Nintendo also revealed a new costume for Mario and his allies: the Cat Suit. By obtaining a gold bell, Mario will transform into a cat and gain the ability to pounce on enemies or scale walls and poles. New footage also revealed the presence of what appear to be Kuribo's Skate (not Shoes!) and an orange Yoshi that takes the form of a raft.
How many power-ups are there? Let's count it off:
Mushroom
Fire flower
Tanooki suit
Super star
Cat suit! Meow meow meow!
Cherry cloner
Boomerang suit
Missile launcher hat thing
Propeller Block
? Block hat
HOLLOWED OUT GOOMBA CORPSE!
Kuribo's shoe as an ice skate!
Bombs
Baseballs?!
Potted Piranha Plant
Explosive soccer balls
Not all are technically power-ups, but they are all weapons Mario can use. And I'm sure there are more that haven't been revealed yet.
I played Super Mario 3D World at E3 this past year and for whatever reason it just didn't interest me at all. Yeah, it's neat and it's about time they made a 3D Mario game with mulitplayer, but the demo made it feel like yet another New Super Mario Bros. game. You know, the series that has been rehashed four times now if you count New Super Luigi U.http://www.destructoid.com/super-mario-3d-world-is-an-absolute-blast-to-play-262899.phtml
Technically those games are great -- don't get me wrong. And they're fun to play in co-op for sure, but something about them just never made me want to finish them. They didn't have the spirit of pretty much all of the earlier Mario games that made me fall in love and 100% each and everyone of them.
I wanted to give Super Mario 3D World another chance though, and the hands-on time I got with the game yesterday has completely sold me on it. That spirit I was referring to before is undoubtedly present with the latest Mario game.

I am so happy for Super Mario World 3D. It's exactly what I've wanted out of a Mario game for years now. I'll lose my mind if they bring back the feather cape too which is, as we all know, the best Mario power-up of all time. Period.
“The Adventures of Captain Toad” has players navigating environments with gyrosensor controls. Your goal is to collect five green stars while being tactful when encountering enemeis. Jumping appears to be disabled in this mode, making it much more difficult to take down foes. IGN says the experience “feels a lot more like a puzzle game.”http://nintendoeverything.com/two-new-modes-revealed-for-super-mario-3d-world/

Nintendo is additionally packing in a second new mode known as “Mystery House”. Players are tasked with completing a series of timed courses while collecting green stars. It’s said to be based on the Mystery Boxes found in Super Mario 3D Land, though in this mode, there are more boxes connected in the courses. While it may seem a wee bti more difficult than in looks, it’s easy to determine what you did wrong when making a mistake.
Captain Toad — previously seen in Super Mario Galaxy — has a starring role in the forthcoming Super Mario 3D World. He takes part in exclusive levels where he has to traverse various obstacles in order to grab as many stars as possible.
The unique thing about Captain Toad's challenges is that he can't jump. Another major difference between these levels and the main game is the ability to alter the viewpoint using the GamePad's motion control — this can be overridden by the analogue stick, however.
We've grabbed some footage of the first Captain Toad level for your own personal amusement - rest assured, this is relatively simple when compared to the later ones.
