Animacja to nic wielkiego, sama historia oczywiscie pewnie miód. Zagralem w oba demka, pierwsze to raczej taki 'story mode' (z dwiema bodaj walkami), drugie nastawione na minigierki (koń + łuk, a to drugie to chyba jakis burdel czy co? - w kazdym razie rozmowa z jakas panienka.. :D) i jest pare walk do rozegrania (ostatnia to jakis latwy boss, przy ktorym takze mamy QTE). Walka wręcz nie umywa sie do Shenmue (gralem tylko w Shenmue 2, i to dosc dawno), ale za to mozemy 'w locie' zmieniac krzyżakiem bronie. I zdaje mi sie ze mozna sie uczyc ciosow (ale reki uciac sobie nie dam), bo ogladalem sobie krzaczasty ekwipunek i byly tam jakies opcje z obrazkami przerzutow itp. To w końcu Yakuza ma być w przeszłości czy w teraźniejszości bo już się pogubiłem.Można założyć temat Yakuza 3, bo ta Yakuza, której akcja dzieje się w przeszłości nazywa się Yakuza Kensai.
In the adventure section, it first introduces the "district that never sleeps, Kamuro" and the "southern country, Okinawa," and says that each town's unique feel has been captured. They also state that there will be over 20 tie-in stores, so, it'll lend a more "real" feel to the game. Four of the six pictures on that part show us familiar places in Kamuro; the last two are in Okinawa.
The next is mostly about the club girls. As you all probably know, they've gotten models from Koakuma Ageha. Well, in Kenzan! fashion, you can now play games with the girls as you date them, including darts, billiards, and karaoke. It also states that you can now give a girl a makeover in a side quest where you aim to make the most popular "No. 1" cabaret club girl! Strangely, they take that opportunity to stray from the topic and talk about how there will be over 100 sub-stories in which players will experience a whole new kind of adult game.
Lastly, they talk about the arcade experience. There will be a quiz game, "Answer x Answer," added to the arcades (which still have the UFO catchers, apparently). They also mention that you can actually go on a golf course this time (probably in Okinawa), and that the casinos and batting cages will return. In the last two pictures on this page, we see the chouhan dice game and what looks like Haruka doing karaoke....
Now, we finally get to the meat and potatoes of this series: the fighting.
The first page promises a return of a free-fighting system, where you combo people, throw them, and pick up whatever items are laying around to pummel their faces in. They promise new systems and evolution of moves and combos. In the pictures, we can see some familiar-looking moves (and Kiryuu in his Okinawa outfit!), a quick-time-event-esque button prompt, Kiryuu leaping over trash cans in pursuit of a running foe (another QTE-like thing?), and the return of the battle arena, with Kiryuu getting ready to face off against Majima Gorou.
Next, they talk about Heat Actions, but they pretty much only say that there have been new ones added. They state that both barehanded and weapon-wielding Heat Actions have been upgraded and now look more beautiful--and are more numerous--than ever. It looks like you jump at the foe now as you slam a free-standing sign into their head. It also looks like tonfa have returned and Kiryuu can now do an armbar (!).
Finally, they show us...a schoolgirl getting harassed by some perverted old man and then elbowing him in the face. And Kiryuu has some weird look on his face in the next panel. You know what that means? If you played Kenzan!, you might.
That's right. The "revelations" system has returned in this game. Kiryuu can witness events about town that inspire him to get more ways to kick butt. The elbow in this scene looks very similar to the one in the page before, talking about Heat Actions, where Kiryuu elbows some dude in sunglasses and a red jacket in the face.
fenomenalny gameplaywow, robi wrażenie! Graficznie sam miodzik. Trudno uwierzyć, że to gra Segi.

Do tej pory premiera w pierwszej kolejności zawsze była JAPAN-ONLY a obsuwy reszty świata co najmniej 9 miesięcy więc nie byłbym optymistą co do tego, czy zagramy w tę grę w 2009!

The latest issue of Famitsu Weekly has confirmed that the latest entry into Sega's popular Yakuza series will be hitting shelves in Japan on February 26, 2009. Yakuza 3 will debut at a price of 7980 yen.
A prequel to the series,Yakuza Kenzan!, was released last year in Japan and was an instant blockbuster, selling over a quarter million copies. With both Sega's Yakuza 3 and From Software's Demon Soul hitting Japanese shelves in the same month, the PlayStation 3 is set to start with a bang in 2009.
Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan got its very own hardware bundle earlier this year, so it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise to learn that Sega and Sony are teaming up for a similar promotion for Ryu ga Gotoku 3.
The all new entry in the critically acclaimed adult drama series will be offered as part of a limited edition hardware bundle. Known as the "Nobori Ryu Pack" (Rising Dragon Pack), this bundle includes a copy of the game and a ceramic white 80 gigabyte PS3 with a special dragon logo. The controller included with the bundle is a Dual Shock 3.
Sega has yet to share pics of the hardware.
Pricing for the bundle, which will be limited to just 10,000 units, is set at 45,980 yen. Ryu ga Gotoku 3's software-only version is priced at 7,980 yen, making this a savings of nearly 2,000 yen over buying the game and system separately.

We thought we?d ask after being subjected to two sets of screenshots, an excellent looking trailer and have seen the announcement of Japanese exclusive white dragon-themed PS3 all in the space of one month.
However, when we asked Sega if it was on its way West, a company rep replied: ?Not that I know of.?

First impressions of Sega's open world mobster title, Yakuza 3, are in. The title has scored 10, 10, 9 and 9 from Famitsu's panel of critics, for a combined score of 38/40. This score is along the lines of how the previous titles in the series have fared. Yakuza 2 for PS2 got a 38/40 as well, and last year's Yakuza Kenzan! scored a 37/40.
To celebrate, Sega will release a demo on the Japanese PSN tomorrow, which will weigh in at 1.22Gb.
Sega has already told us that there are no plans for Yakuza 3 hitting the West any time soon.
Famitsu's review also revealed that the title is roughly 30 hours long. That's just for the main storyline as well, so all the karaoke singing, womanizing, golfing, tanning, and whatever other dilly dallying you have Kazuma Kiryu up to is all just bonus time tacked on to that.
And to top it all off, Sega is releasing a Yakuza 3 demo on the Japanese PSN sometime tomorrow. The demo will clock in at just a bit over 1 gig. In the demo, you'll be able to try some of the various aforementioned mini-games, as well as the actual combat systems.
Pograłem w demko trochę. Grafa fajna a szczególnie modele postaci. Natomiast cała mechanika i fizyka to poprzednia generacja albo i gorzej. Klimacik daje radę i muza w odpowiednich momentach potęguje atmosferę. Szkoda że nic nie rozumiałem. :P
Walki są proste do bólu ale dzięki QTE nabierają smaku. Ja bym nie kupił tej gry gdyby pojawiła się w Europie. No chyba że byłaby spolszczona i kosztowała połowę.
A cała rozgrywka i schemat to czysty oldschool, poczułem się jakbym grał na PS2

Po świetnym początku, jakim z całą pewnością była sprzedaż 372 tysięcy w pierwszym tygodniu Sega poinformowała dzisiaj, że Yakuza 3 została wysłana do sklepów w nakładzie przekraczającym już 500 tysięcy sztuk. Warto również odnotować, że całość serii sprzedała się liczbie 3,2 miliona egzemplarzy, ale licząc wszystkie rynki.

The DLC content is a total of 29 items and is being released over the course of eight weeks. What kind of content? Stuff like new outfits for you characters. Fancy a walk through Tokyo in a bathing suit with a man dressed as a Mexican wrestler?
Besides the item packs, there are also mission packs. The DLC ends with this newest bundle. Since Ryu Ga Gotoku 3 has been automatically updating each time the PS3 is connected to the internet, keeping up has been a cinch.
A fan of the series pleaded with Jeff Rubenstein, Social Media Manager of Sony Computer Entertainment America, to bring Yakuza 3 to North America. He responded with the following comment:
?Talk to SEGA! I?d love the opportunity to play Yakuza 3 in English.?
Sega is the developer and publisher of the Yakuza series. Even with numerous pleads from their fans, they still haven?t budge yet. Unfortunately, this doesn?t bold well for two of the best exclusive games on the Playstation 3.
Earlier this evening, I was talking with a friend who works at Sega and we did some catching up and had a bit of small talk. Before our conversation ended, though, I asked him about the current status of Yakuza 3 coming stateside. He gave me a blunt answer: No Yakuza 3.
Sega fans and Yakuza fans will be saddened to know that Sega won?t be bringing Yakuza 3 stateside. The reason as to why they won?t be bringing the game over is simple: it won?t sell, he told me. They have a firm stance to believe that would be the case, too. Yakuza 2 has only sold around 40k copies in America on the PS2. The numbers for the original Yakuza aren?t much better.
The series is moderately popular in Japan and the series will stay there. With the recent announcement of Yakuza 4 coming to PS3 in the future, you can bet it won?t see release outside of Japan.
Just a few days ago Sega rep Aaron Webber commented that the possibility of Yakuza 3 coming to the U.S. still exists and that it's a subject discussed quite often at Sega. Today we can do one better: we've learned that the PS3 exclusive is indeed coming west. According to sources close to the project, Yakuza 3 is currently being localized for release in the U.S. and European markets.
And while this is still not the official confirmation many are seeking, it's definitely reason to keep up hope. We anticipate more news on this front will be coming from Sega -- or another publisher, were the game shopped around -- in the coming weeks or months. It's possible we could even hear sooner: the Tokyo Game Show occurs later this week, and if you remember, Sega announced Yakuza 2 for the U.S. at the 2007 show.

Sega will be releasing Yakuza 3 on the PS3 in March and it looks like the official Yakuza 3 box art has surfaced on GameFly. It lacks a lot of the style found on the Japanese box art, but after waiting for such a long time, does the artwork on the box really even matter at this point? The overall look of the box does go with the previous two Yakuza box arts, but it's definitely lacking compared to the Japanese box art.

Ograłem demo Yakuzy3.
Spodziewałem się czegoś b. dobrego, dostałem coś b. słabego. Starałem się polubic tą gierkę, klimat ma świetny i... no w sumie to tyle z dobrych rzeczy. Wszystko inne to mniejsza lub większa porażka. Grafika jest tak paskudna że masakra, jedynie wykonanie głównych postaci daje radę, walka uboga, a wytrzymałośc tego japończyka z kataną jak Godzilli.
Szkoda, bo napalałem się na to.

The parts we ended up taking out were parts that we felt wouldn't make sense (like a Japanese history quiz game) or wouldn't resonate as much (such as the concept of a hostess club)
