Akcja gry dzieje się dziesięć lat przed wydarzeniami przedstawionymi w oryginalnym Kingdom Hearts.
Famitsu scores are always newsworthy and none more so than this (if you’re a PSP owner that is). The new Kingdom Hearts title, Birth by Sleep, has scored an impressive 37 out of 40 from the Japanese Gaming giants making it the highest scoring PSP game of all time. This game is really going to shift a hell of a lot of copies upon its release on January 9th and don’t forget, Japan are also getting a Kingdom Hearts PSP to match, lucky devils. No word yet on a release outside Japan but I’m sure we will get one.
Square Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep will be coming to Europe this summer.Last night, the firm announced a North America release, although no specific date was given for the spin-off, both for the US and Europe. The game is the third spin-off in the series – with Coded for Mobile phones in Japan and 358/2 Days for DS – with a third main title still mentioned by series creator Tetsuya Nomura, but never officially confirmed.Over 14 million units of the series has shipped worldwide so far since it began in the early 2000s on PlayStation 2.“Birth by Sleep is one of the most beautiful titles to grace the PSP and we’re excited about its forthcoming release across PAL territories,” said Square Enix Europe VP of Brands, Larry Sparks.
