Everything feels as gangster as it should. The world is easy to navigate, though the GPS can be a bit wonky. Production values aren’t quite what they could be.
7.0 Graphics
A myriad of technical flaws mar an otherwise good looking game. Looks slightly more washed out on PS3.
8.5 Sound
Songs play a bit too often on the radio but there’s a good selection of stations to pick from. Voice acting is very good and effectively pushes the plot.
8.5 Gameplay
Varied missions, insane activities and fun diversions make for a very fun experience.
8.5 Lasting Appeal
Having the entire campaign available for two people to play is great. Missions get slightly monotonous at times but there’s always multiplayer for a quick reprieve.

Solid map system and a phone format 'borrowed' from GTA IV, plus a host of refinements across the board.
7.0    Graphics
Shiny, a bit sparse and definitely bland. The environment is surprisingly destructible though, and the animation and musculature is great.
8.0    Sound
A great soundtrack, provisions for custom songs, a decent cast of entertaining voice actors and solid environmental audio.
7.5    Gameplay
Pretty good in all respects, but it's off the backs of giants. The original attractions are worthwhile and the humour and hidden extras are tops.
9.0    Lasting Appeal
This is a big game with a lot of content, which aims to please everyone and succeeds to varying degrees. Deep, deep co-op is a boon.

An absolute blast to play through alone or with a mate, Saints Row 2 is quite simply a must purchase for anybody that is looking for a bloody good time. And isn't that what we're all really looking for?

If it's not obvious by now, I absolutely love this game. The best compliment I can give is that when I'm not playing it, I’m thinking about it, and that is certainly the case with Saints Row 2. The game's engaging story line, great voice acting and mix of humor and mayhem kept me coming back whether it was to spend some more time stealing ho's, or participating in Fight Club or simply chipping away at the gangs that took over my fair city while I was away. Add on an engaging multiplayer mode and seamless co-op and you have sandbox game that can proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with the GTA's of the world. I loved GTA IV too, but I roll with a different crew now and it's Third Street Saints til I die. Stilwater represent!

Aż ciężko mi uwierzyć że gra która wygląda tak infantylnie i dennie na filmikach, dostaje tak dobre oceny. Mam nadzieję że GT zrobi niedługo video recenzje.

Dwójka już teraz ma średnią na GR 88% czyli recenzentom się podoba i to bardzo.

Ultimately, Zombie Uprising is a perfect metaphor for Saints Row 2 itself. Like the mini-game, everything in Saints Row 2 is over-the-top. There are quite possibly no other games that can come close to the sheer number of explosions, bullets, murder, and vulgarity on tap here. And you know what? We wouldn't have it any other way.

With dozens of missions, open-ended gameplay, co-op and multiplayer modes, anyone who picks up a copy of Saints Row 2 will no doubt still be playing it well into the new year.

Console Monster - 9 / 10

Yet for all the laughs I had playing the original and the witty accents, Saints Row 2 has gone and blown that all out of the water. The level of voice-acting has improved massively and characters in the game now seem to have a personality; best of all they are witty and some of the comments they come out with will make you laugh out loud. This is videogame comedy and it is good.

If lunacy is your thing, Saints 2 now offers a two player online co-op mode, and the chuckle-factor experienced by yourself soon becomes a laughing fit when you add a mate - especially if your partner in crime is morbidly obese, is wearing a traffic cone for a hat, and does a Michael Jackson jazz kick to show his approval of things. Those of you who enjoyed the co-op antics of Crackdown will be right at home here, and with this feature Saints 2 manages to trump GTA’s much more buttoned down approach to co-operative multiplay.
