Mid Febuary, Playstation Conference: Sony reveals the Price and the Release date of the PS3. Rockstar presents some screens or footage of GTA4 to hype up the PS3. Release most likely: April 15, 2006, World-Wide. Price Most Likely: $399.99-$449.99. Large Amounts of informtion are given about the Cell Processer, RSX Graphics Chip, and the Blu-Ray Disks. Consumers beleive that Blu-Ray is the true next-generation disk.
Late Febuary, Sony: PS3 is complete, ready to be manufactured. Sony also announces Killzone to be released in 2007. Graphics are confirmed to be in Real-time. Consumers are shocked.
1st, March, Polls: A poll is taken by Time Magazine based on Next Generation Gaming. Time asks 1000 Gamers what they were doing. The Results Come In:

Early April, Sony: Sony releases the final bits of PS3 information. Preorders are flying through the roof. Sony will give 2 million PS3s to each major region, ie. Europe, Japan, U.S.
April 15, 2006, Sony: Sony releases the Playstation 3 to the world. Consumers are phsyced. PS3 is the true start of Next-gen. Warhawk, Lair, and The Getaway sell greatly.
May 1st, NPD: The NPD comes out with the PS3 selling results. The results destroy Xbox 360's.
PS3: 3,500,000 Units *Est.
X360: 600,000 Units *Est.
Playstation 3 is estimated to reach the 100,000,000 Unit mark by 2009-2010.
