Na razie nie zapowiada się rewelacyjnie. Najbardziej przeszkadzają spadki płynności. Ale możliwe, że nie będą one dotyczyć pełnej wersji (byłoby słabo).

Warto jednak zauważyć, że poprzednia część była hitem sprzedażowym i rozeszła się na Wii w ponad 4 mln egzemplarzy. Jest to więc kolejny mocny tytuł z punktu marketingowego.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games Online Multiplayer Outlined

Arriving in Europe on 8th November and North American on 15th November, it'll incorporate GamePad and Wii Remote / Nunchuk controls for a variety of sports, some portrayed relatively accurately and others given some unconventional twists.

We know that local multiplayer is always an important part of these games, but Satoru Iwata took the opportunity in today's Nintendo Direct broadcast to outline four specific events that will be playable online, with worldwide multiplayer promised — rather than being restricted by region. The four events are Freestyle Ski Cross, Snowboard Cross, Short Track Speed Skating 1000m and Winter Sports Champion Race. The final in that list combines multiple disciplines and mixes up the gameplay to, in the words of Iwata-san, deliver an "outrageous event". Playing against friends is an option, but playing and winning medals against players around the world adds to the points for your country, meaning you can contribute to some Wii U national pride while you're at it.

Mario & Sonic At Sochi 2014 Winter Games Confirmed For November 8th Release In Europe

The game will feature 12 event based on real-life Winter Olympic sports, with another 8 "Dream events" which push the boundaries of reality somewhat. You'll also be able to play against people online using the brand-new Worldwide VS mode, but that's not all:

    Away from the individual events, the Legends Showdown mode is designed for those who want to experience the deeper Mario & Sonic world. In this mode, 20 characters join forces to compete in an ultimate showdown, and it’s down to you to strategise and select which character will be put forward for each event. Come out on top in each of the five areas and defeat their respective Bosses to aim for the coveted Legend Trophy, earning different rewards as you complete areas.

    Meanwhile, an all-new party mode set up for multiplayer fun is the Action & Answer Tour, which is presented in the style of a TV quiz program and allows up to four players to compete against each other in minigames based on Olympic events. With the pressure on, you will need a mixture of quick reactions and observational skills to earn points and overcome your opponents – whoever has the most total points at the end wins!

W końcu recenzenci normalnie oceniają te gnioty.

No nie zawsze. Party games są przede wszystkim skierowane dla dzieciaków/grania z dzieciakami, a recenzenci rzadko to uwzględniają w ocenach. Najczęściej ogarną na tytuł w pojedynkę lub na szybko sprawdzą tryb wieloosobowy i na tym się kończy. Olimpiadę Mario i Sonica raczej sobie odpuszczę, ale Mario Party postaram się kiedyś sprawdzić. Najprawdopodobniej kupię kiedyś chrześniakowi, bo przyda mu się wii remote plus. Wtedy dam znać, jak to wygląda z mojej perspektywy.

W Nintendo Land mam już nabite ponad 30 godzin, a do gry jeszcze będę wracał (zresztą wciąż sporo rzeczy nie przeszedłem, a i do odblokowania mam niemało).
