Na pewno. IMO będzie o tym w TV, AGD, RTV, w chipsach, paluszkach, może nawet w internecie.

Seeing as PlayStation Home is also set for release in other territories in Spring 2008, could we expect to see a simultaneous worldwide release? The possibility certainly exists, complete with the potential bells and whistles of a PlayStation Home launch party.

Trochę martwią mnie te achievementy, chodzi mi o to że się boję że się w nie wkręcę, bo w sumie przedłużają rozgrywkę, ale nie chcę kupować jakichś shitów by nabić sobie licznik czy trofeum.

Home: Feedback led to changes
http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=32590

Cytuj
PlayStation 3's virtual environment has undergone look-and-feel alterations
Sony's forthcoming PlayStation Home platform has undergone key changes in the last few months as a result of feedback from users currently engaged in its beta test.
The virtual world environment, first shown to the public in 2006, has had significant changes made to Home Square and the entrance points to other areas, as well as other places such as the Theatre.
New screens of a recent build of Home, shown to the audience by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's John Venables and Ron Festejo in a session at Imagina 08, demonstrated the new look of what will be every user's first view of the world.
What had been an enclosed room with a large window showing a lush view has now been transformed into a serene outside space, with plenty of room for people to interact, and tables with fully functional chess and draughts games included.
Additionally the entrance points to key content areas - the Theatre and the Bowling Alley - have been redesigned so that they're much more recognisable.
Venables and Festejo also revealed that it was now possible to take your avatar out onto a balcony from your own apartment, and that there would be "around eight or nine" different apartments available at launch, although no new details on potential pricing options for the premium apartments were available.
One of the premium rooms displayed was called Norwegian Lodge, a large wood cabin, much bigger than the basic apartment, and while all of the existing apartment designs were based on real-world locations, Festejo commented that he could see more fantastic options, such as a room in the clouds, becoming available should there be user demand for it.
PlayStation Home is currently on track for a Spring 2008 launch, and will be free to download for all PlayStation 3 users.

Z oficjalnego forum PlayStation nowa porcja plotek o HOME.

We all know about the Warhawk v1.3 patch info, and its Home integration.

We all know about the PSN page on here (us.playstation.com) that was up, then removed, that had info on Home.

We all know that GDC is 2 days away.

Here is something most of us dont know, and why would we? We dont develop PS3 games. I wont disclose where this info came from, nor will I discuss where the info came from any further after this post. I will instead let you all speculate.

The following is from a Private Message with someone to remain nameless. I am not gonna name names and throw this person under the bus.

"Do you know what PSedge tools are?

Basically, it's a development environment filled with code libraries that allow developers to have an easier time integrating their game code to work with the PS3.

Anyways, very exciting stuff happened on Monday (The one that just past). The PSedge dev kits, recieved an update. So whatever, we take a look, and the major addition, was that the TRC's were updated, and the new HOME libraries were brought in.

What does this mean? A TRC is a checklist of things a game must have for Sony to approve, in order for them to give the "Go-Ahead" on releasing the game on their console. This checklist has things like: Can't crash, Load times under 10 seconds, and things like that.

Two new ones were added: A game must be able to integrate into Home, a game must support "Accomplishments". Right there, two important things, the PS3 system for achievements is called "Accomplishments", and Home is coming out VERY VERY VERY Soon.

Then, we got a changelog, and in-game XMB is almost worked out. Every game that's coming out now, supports in-game XMB, every game that already came out, has to get patched. (Naturally, only first party games will get a patch, I doubt Ubisoft is going to patch Assassin's Creed).

So yeah, it boils down to, Sony got everything figured out. I don't know what's the hold up, but from a developers perspective, HOME is set up and completed, and In-Game XMB is on the verge of being completed and released."

We just received a very interesting tip that, while juicy and quite believable, we're labeling as rumor for now. As you are probably well aware, GDC executive director Jamil Moledina set Sony's Phil Harrison up for the spike yesterday, claiming that PLAYSTATION 3 owners will be "very happy" when Phil's keynote takes place next week.Could the PlayStation Home, Sony's blending of achievements and Miis be that big surprise? While the rumor seems to make sense, keep in mind while reading through it that it came from an anonymous source and that the half-dozen development studios we spoke with hadn't heard a thing about it.Sony, when contacted earlier today, said they do not comment on rumors or speculation.Playstation Home sounds like it could be an interesting, lo-fi, killer app, as described by our source.

W nim: Home, in-game XMB, blablabla. Jutro LBP. Enjoy.
Home może się okazać strzałem w dzisiątkę. I ja w to wierzę. Wszystkie funkcje najlepszego sprzętu ubrane w świetne ciuszki. Kcę.

Home Beta gets a significant update next week
http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/02/21/home-beta-gets-a-significant-update-next-week/

Cytuj
Wow, where to begin. We've just received an email detailing a huge update to the Home beta next week. The update will bring the version number to 0.8.3 (taking us ever closer to its release at v1.0.0) and the information comes from the beta message board on the official PlayStation site, so we're certain it's legit. There's a lot of stuff to go over, so we'll pick out the most interesting bits and paste the full patchlist after the break.

Cytuj
Improvements to the UI and graphics engine mean that Home will look much prettier and be more functional from here on out. You will be able to check who's online from your friends list as well as who is in Home right now. A bubble machine has been made available to all beta testers, to test the new "Home Items" system. Video streaming is now made possible too, so you don't have to wait for a video to download completely before watching it.

The most exciting part of the update is the unveiling of the Marketplace in the main square. The Marketplace is stocked with clothes and furniture as well as other, undisclosed, content. We can't wait to see what's there. Game launching is also now available, though it is currently limited. Games can be started within Home, however the party will not be automatically generated within the game. Also, players with different versions of a game (such as American or European) won't be able to start a game together. The patch notes clearly state, however, that this is only temporary and will be fixed before launch.

Cytuj
We now use an HDR approach to lighting and bloom so the glowing halos around bright objects have been toned down and things should look sharper overall. We've also improved the water shader so all of the water should look noticeably better. The new engine also provides more stable frame rates in very crowded areas.

Support for 1080p is also back.

Cytuj
- The wardrobe is accessible from any location, not just your Home Space.
- A selection of pre-set characters is available with more coming.
- Jewellery is now available for both sexes.
- Improved the look of skin on all characters.
- Your avatar is well lit and has a mirror behind to make customisation much easier.
- The standard list of clothing has been reduced to our intended starting pack.
- More clothing is available from the new Marketplace (see below!).
- Save & Load! You can now save your character in 9 different setups.
- Extra clothing will be added soon to test our update system.

Cytuj
The mystery building in Home Square can now be revealed and it's not a Flamingo Factory as US tester NO FEAR!! recently guessed.

In the Marketplace you'll find stores with all sorts of things for you to add to your character and Home Space such as clothing, furniture and even... well, why not explore it yourself.

Cytuj
Many of the problems that stopped Game Launching from working properly have been fixed; however there are still some temporary issues that you need to know about before you try it:

- Groups formed in PLAYSTATION® Home for Game Launching are not currently preserved into the game. This means that you can all get together and form a group but when you launch the game you will not arrive in a session together. It will not stay like this - we are working with game developers to integrate full support for Game Launching into a range of games. However as stated before, we really wanted to get an early version of Game Launching out so that you could test the menu functionality and see how it works for you within PLAYSTATION® Home.

- Game Launching currently only supports grouping up if you have identical versions of the same game. For example the EU and US versions of Motorstorm may not work together at the moment and there may be problems between the installed and disc version of Warhawk. Again it will not stay like this and eventually all versions of the same game will work together properly.

Cytuj
Whilst the legalities, policies and practicalities of regional travel are addressed we have temporarily disabled the ability to switch between the European, US and Japanese regions via your virtual PSP.

Support for more languages has been added bringing our complete list up to: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, traditional Chinese and Korean.

Cytuj
We needed a way to test our new Home items system and therefore we are proud to present our first one... (Drum roll)... the bubble machine! You can find it in your virtual PSP under Personal> My Inventory. Place it down anywhere you like and blow some bubbles.

Cytuj
- Fixed the problem where you could appear in a location and some other characters there would be invisible.
- Fixed the floating pool balls.
- Fixed the levitating avatars.
- Fixed the issue that led to C967 errors.
- Fixed the inconsistencies between the view inside and outside different locations.
- Fixed the positioning of the PSP in your character's hands.

With the news that Phil Harrison, President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios, would be stepping down this week, GameDaily BIZ wondered what impact this might have on the still in beta PlayStation Home virtual world/service.
"[It's] business as usual for Home. The projects that Phil has been working on including Home are still on track and are still sticking to their current schedules," a Sony Computer Entertainment America spokesperson told us. "Each title and project is supported by a wide variety of people behind the scenes to ensure the highest quality and execution."

Home plans revealed for Uncharted, Warhawk
http://www.psu.com/Home-plans-revealed-for-Uncharted,-Warhawk-News--a0002897-p0.php

Cytuj
According to Kotaku, the company is looking at prospects for three major titles: Resistance: Fall of Man, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, and the online multiplayer title, Warhawk.

First and foremost, Resistance will supposedly allow gamers to explore an “interesting room” where you will be able to intercept UK-US transmissions allowing you to visit previously unreleased locations that didn’t make it into the final product.

Uncharted, meanwhile, will allow you to explore various locations without fear of attack; however, the main attraction featured in Naughty Dog’s contributions to Home comes in the form of a 2D arcade title. Described as being reminiscent of both Contra and Out of This World, the game features a healthy dose of enemies and exploding barrels for players to blast their way through in the classic side-scrolling mold.

Finally, Warhawk will allow players to join a pre-game briefing room, displaying a fully 3D map of the battlefield, enabling users to plan out key strategic points by placing markers on the map itself.

Pomysł z WarHawkiem świetny, ciekawe czego jeszcze możemy spodziewać sie po Home.
