Everyone is naturally delighted with the announcement and the first images of Uncharted 2. But what about Jak and Daxter? Are they still? If we are to believe an old rumor, however. This rumor from October told how Uncharted 2 would be announced and when. And believe it or not, but knocked each word of this person. He also said that Naughty Dog will soon have another game and this game would reveal that it is possible that a new Jak can be. He told namely the following ..."I don't like dealing in rumors and we've seen a lot of those types of people come and go now Surfer Girl, Games Blow, Skater Boy and a host of others. But I have word from a pretty damn good source that Uncharted 2 is set to make a playable appearance at GDC 09' coming up and will be officially unveiled by a major publication in December. Also, word has it from ol' buddy that at the VGA's the game will have a new teaser trailer for the game leading inward.Set in the Snowy Mountains of a yet to be disclosed area, he said Uncharted 2 is going to be 50% uncharted, 25% Cliff Hanger and 25% Metal Gear Solid 4.Again, nothing more than that... ... but it sounds logical. One website hones in on a shaky statement.The Dutch website PS3Life.nl highlights an unofficial rumour that made the rounds in October of this year.The article revealed the December announcement of Uncharted 2, along with other details which have since been proven correct. The now justified source went on to mention another Naughty Dog project, suspecting that it might be Jak and Daxter IV.However reliable the source might be, there's no way Jak IV will be announced for the PlayStation 3, since Naughty Dog are head deep in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves development.If anything, there might be a Jak and Daxter release on the PSP, in a similar vein to Resistance Retribution, which was not developed by the series' PlayStation 3 developer Insomniac, but by Bend Studios. Or perhaps Jak might come to the PlayStation Network, like Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty.
