1UP: Are there any plans to continue Corobo's story after he unifies all of the surrounding nations? Do you plan to continue this as a new series, like the Harvest Moon games? And if so, do you see future titles being on Wii?YW: Little King's Story has been in development for a long time, and within that time we've added and deleted a lot of ideas to make it the game we have today. I would love to continue the concept and make it into a series, but to be able to do that I need the people of the world to purchase and enjoy this game first to ensure there's interest out there.

There are still a few question marks that remain, but from what we've seen so far, Little King's Story has the depth and considered design to really make it stand out from the glut of generic releases on the horizon. The presentation, which we haven't really touched on here, speaks for itself; stylised super-deformed characters, illustrated cutscenes and classical music pulled from sources like Carmen and the great composers. It's a quality production so far and we can't wait to see how all these elements come together.
Little King?s Story is as rich as it is long, and it?s a very lengthy game indeed. Its central mechanic is unique, its world unlike any other, and its completion a Herculean task. It?s a game of rare quality, and exactly what the Wii deserves. It?s a true original.
With both its addictive, rewarding gameplay and the wealth of imagination that?s been poured into the presentation, it?s incredibly difficult to stop playing Little King?s Story. In fact, you?re lucky that we even got around to writing this review at all. Some might say that?s a bad thing, but consider this: why wouldn?t you want all of your spare time consumed by an achingly cute RTS that?s as well made and as funny as Pikmin?
For a game that bears gameplay similarities to some proud forebears , Little King's Story is shockingly original in execution. There really isn't another RPG out there quite like it ? and in an increasingly stale strategy-RPG market, this is a game that renews the category for us. It's compelling and complex, deep and rewarding, surprising and above all entertaining. There are few other games on the Wii that can really share that much praise in a single sentence, so that's an achievement unto itself. It does have drawbacks ? for all the polish, Little King's Story still has occasional gameplay quirks and shortcomings. But my god man ? this is fine gaming. Ignore the box art , look past the cutesy presentation ? Little King's Story is an enormous tale wholeheartedly worth exploring.
