Games Radar is claiming (via Games World UK) that inside sources tell them God of War 3 won't be released until at the earliest Christmas 2009. That date seems to fall under common sense, given that two years passed between the first two God of War titles and the next iteration is taking a leap to the more technically-proficient PlayStation 3.

Some speculate that an interview with Frank Delise done through Gamespot kind of gave the foreshadowing for this event. It was in this interview that Frank stated, "Mostly the engine we're using--Unreal Engine 3. One of the main things about it is that the PS3 came a year later than the Xbox 360, so that actually delayed us making a budget in a sense for what's possible on the PS3 versus the Xbox and PC. The latest issue of Famitsu revealed the name of the next 2D fighting game by Arc System : BlazeBlue. An anonymous Best Buy employee has sent us a scan of an internal letter, which notifies employees that the 80GB system is being discontinued. "The 80GB version of the PS3 is going closeout and won't be replaced at this time," it reads. "It will come off the planogram on Jan. 28. The 60GB version should already be gone from stores.
