To by tłumaczyło długi czas produkcji gry , bo gra przez pewien okres zniknęła nam z oczu , przestano pokazywać trailery teasery , zero nowych skanów w gazetkach , a ostatnie materiały moim zdaniem prezentowały grę w połowie ukończoną co najmniej...
We already know that Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII for PS3 and Final Fantasy Agito XIII for the PSP are all part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis universe. Square have previously mentioned that Versus and Agito are not spinoffs, but rather a different story in the same universe. However, it seems that the Versus XIII and Final Fantasy XIII stories may overlap and be closer than we first thought as IMDB's listing for Final Fantasy Versus XIII suggests that at least two of the Englsh voice actors from Final Fantasy XIII will also be recording voices for Versus XIII.The page suggests that Daniel Samonas will be recording a voice for Maqui (pictured below), who is part of Snow's gang in Final Fantasy XIII.It also suggests that Erik Davies will be recording a voice-over for Cid Raines (pictured below), just as he did in Final Fantasy XIII.Of course this is still classed as a rumor at the moment, but the page was updated fairly recently (April 26th 2010), so could be accurate. If it is true however, we may even be seeing some of the more major characters such as Lightning in the game, great news for Final Fantasy fans.
Ex PS3 Exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII going multiplatform
A few extra Versus XIII DetailsGame Jouhou has updated with a few additional Versus XIII details from either Famitsu or Dengeki.Apparently, the included screens show a massive wilderness scene. Also included is a battle scene that's set in a city modeled after Shinjuku, and a scene showing a gasoline stand.Says Nomura about the game's world, "If you try to go all the way to the end, it's truly far."Also from the Nomura interview: * The game's cloud effects use real physics calculations * The world is an open field, and you can go everywhere except for the mountains * The battles are seamless * The game's encounter system is both random and symbol-based (meaning you can see enemies in advance). Hmm... what could this mean? * The game's world is mostly seamless, although there are some load points when you switch between the massive areas. * You can destroy objects that you find on the road. * The quality of the combat scenes is so high that people will not be able to believe it when they first see it. * The staff is excited about making the game.Nomura also confirms that the screens in the magazine are all realtime, captured off the PlayStation 3. Of course, this won't mean much until we can actually see the screens...
New Final Fantasy Versus XIII Info Coming at TGSI believe there were some reports during E3 of The Last Guardian making an appearance at this year's Tokyo Game Show. Well it won't be carrying the PS3 all by itself! Famitsu has an article on Final Fantasy Versus XIII this week, complete with new screenshots (finally!) and a Tetsuya Nomura interview! It looks like Nomura confirms some announcements for the game at TGS!

Czas się szykować na 2012.
Śmiać mi się chce - Square Enix kompromituje Square Enix. Jeśli chociaż część rzeczy w Versus wypali, ciekawi mnie komentarz twórców FFXIII. Przecież według nich takie gry tworzy się w kilka-kilkanaście lat .
Final Fantasy Versus XIII began development as early as 2003
Mnie się marzy premiera na gwiazdkę 2011.
Premiera w 2011-2012 - jedynie 8-9 lat im zajęło. Mad
Dopiero od zakończenia prac nad XIII, Versus dostał zastrzyk personelu.
Q: Is this a real-time screenshot we’re looking? The image quality is very good.A:Yes it’s an image in real-time using the real hardware. We aim to improve the quality you’re seeing now even further. As of now we can’t share more details in full scale right now, so we removed the menus and subscreens where it shows Noctis expression (image projected on the subscreen).
Q: Were the party members also there originally?A: Yes, we removed because we haven’t formally announced their weapons and clothes yet.
Q:What’s this giant Enemy on the other screen?A: It’s a Military Behemoth and he actually bears a huge sword in his back. As for this pictures, the battle screen were on the screen but we omitted it.
Q: Monsters appear on the field?A: (Laughter)…Yes, there are monsters that appear on the field; Some staff were doing the tests and were surprised by how good looking some are in the evening sun.
Q: Do you play in this perspective the whole game?A: Yes. The camera basically sits in this position. We decided to priority to the character’s presence and the world; that said we decided to scrap the over the shoulder perspective of the world.
Last week’s Famitsu interview with Final Fantasy Versus XIII director Tetsuya Nomura was followed up with a similar interview in this week’s Dengeki PlayStation. While the contents of the interview were mostly the same, there were some important tidbits mentioned in Dengeki that missed the Famitsu coverage.According to the magazine, the game’s scenario is fully complete. We’re guessing that means the story and script are fully written and finished.Character designs are also finished. Nomura promises that Versus XIII’s character designs are definitive and will be revealed in due time. All their clothing has been completed, as well, which as we know are designed by Japanese clothing manufacturer Roen.Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be at the Tokyo Game Show this year.
Square Enix's The 3rd Birthday Twitter is about more than just The 3rd Birthday. Tetsuya Nomura has said that he'll be providing a few updates on his other projects, and he did just that earlier today for Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII.Regarding Versus, he said, "Versus has had many difficulties, and past method of production have been completely inapplicable, but these are the difficulties of birth, so we are working hard. We have a lot to announce, but because we're going in order, I can't say too much yet."This talk about "order" is in reference to Square Enix's policy of promoting games in the order of their release. Nomura himself first mentioned this policy in a pre-TGS interview last year. (Of course, in that interview, Nomura suggested that Versus might not be at TGS, which ended up not being true -- Square Enix showed test gameplay footage in a closed theater.)Continuing on Versus, Nomura added, "There have been many questions regarding fields. It's not a completely open world. It's like the 2D FF games in HD. Although, in terms of looks, it's not a top-down view, it's like the screenshots that have been released. You'll move through the world from that view."The screenshots Nomura is referring to were first shared in Dengeki PlayStation and Famitsu in late June. They depict the action from a third person view, behind-the-back of main character Noctis.Nomura also touched briefly upon development progress for both Agito and Versus. "Agito and Versus have different production styles and progress states, but they're both presently undergoing voice casting. 3rd's recording will end shortly. Next up is Agito."If you're wondering when you'll be getting your next glimpse of Versus and Agito, don't turn to Gamesom. In a later Tweet, Nomura said that, similar to E3, the two games will not be shown at the European gaming event. Square Enix will only be showing The 3rd Birthday and Kingdom Hearts.Nomura isn't devoting his full time to Versus and Agito, of course. He also has all those Kingdom Hearts games in the works. He even has some unannounced games on the way. Regarding these, he Tweeted, "There are a number of unannounced titles. These will come before Agito and Versus. Some have finished voice recording. Announcements will take place in Japan."
"And past method of production have been completely inapplicable, but these are the difficulties of birth, so we are working hard. We have a lot to announce, but because we're going in order, I can't say too much yet."
